FRI Church is celebrating 12 YEARS of God’s goodness, and we want YOU to celebrate with us!

For 12 years, we have watched God save, restore, transform, provide, open doors, and build His church—and we know He’s not finished yet.

Whether you’re a current member, a past member, have been connected to FRI at any point along the journey, or you don’t currently attend a church at all—you are invited! Come celebrate what God has done, what He is doing right now, and what we believe is still to come.

Our Anniversary Weekend begins Friday, September 18th at 6:30 PM with our 12th Anniversary Gala Celebration. Come dressed in your formal attire for a special evening of fellowship, reflection, and celebration!

After a weekend of rest, it’s time to come HOME!

School is starting back up, work schedules are getting back into rhythm, and many of us are settling into a new season. Before life gets moving full speed again, there’s no better place to get grounded than in the presence of God and surrounded by your church family.

Day of Rest — Virtual Service Only

FRI Family, after an incredible Friends & Family Month, it’s time to REST.

We’ve worshipped, served, celebrated, fellowshipped, poured out, and watched God move in so many ways throughout August. This Sunday, we’re giving our church family an opportunity to slow down, refresh, and enjoy a well-deserved Day of Rest.

There will be NO in-person service this Sunday. Instead, gather your family and worship with us virtually from wherever you are!

Watch from your couch.
Watch while you’re away.
Watch with your family.
And most importantly… GET SOME REST!

What a way to close out an incredible Friends & Family Month at FRI!

This Sunday was Celebration Sunday, and we had so much to celebrate. We honored those who were baptized during FLOW Sunday and celebrated the official new members who have joined the FRI family!

Pastor Omar also brought the culminating word of our UNLOCKED series titled “Exit Through the Unlocked Door.”
All month long, God has been speaking to us about keys, access, open doors, and what comes next. This Sunday, we were reminded that when God unlocks the door to a new season, everything from the old season can’t come with you.

Some things simply don’t fit where God is taking you.

After service, we ended the month the best way we know how—with food, cake, fellowship, and FAMILY!

We are so grateful for every family, friend, guest, and member who worshipped, served, celebrated, and spent time with us throughout Friends & Family Month. What a month it has been!

And now… it’s time to REST!

Next Sunday is our annual Day of Rest, so there will be no in-person service. Join us virtually from home, on vacation, or wherever you may be—and most importantly, GET SOME REST! We’ll see you online!

FLOW Sunday Recap — 11 Baptized!

Two Sundays ago, we witnessed an incredible move of God at FRI as 11 people made the decision to be baptized and publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ!

Eight came prepared. They registered, attended Baptism Class, and were ready to take their next step.

But three people came to service that Sunday and made the decision right there to take a leap of faith and STEP INTO THE FLOW!

Eleven people went into the water making a declaration that the old version of them was staying behind. They went down one way and rose as new creations in Christ—ready to walk in the NEW life Jesus has given them.

And the Word matched the moment!

Sister Tanisha Montanez preached for the very first time at FRI and brought a powerful message titled “Unlocked: This Is Your Release Season.”

What a moment to witness during our UNLOCKED Friends & Family Month. God is opening doors, breaking chains, releasing His people, and giving them the courage to step into what He has next.

We are so grateful for what God is doing at FRI, and THIS SUNDAY we get to celebrate these 11 lives during our Celebration Service!

Join us as we celebrate what God has done, close out an incredible Friends & Family Month, and finish our theme UNLOCKED together.

Sunday Recap — “Don’t Keep the Keys”

Friends & Family Month: UNLOCKED continued this Sunday with a powerful word from Brother Freddie Toro titled “Don’t Keep the Keys.”

Throughout this month, God has been speaking to us about access—what He has unlocked, the doors He has opened, and what we’re called to do once we have the Key.
This Sunday, we were challenged to think beyond ourselves.

What if the door God opened for you was never meant to stop with you?

Through the story of Paul and Silas in Acts 16, we were reminded that sometimes our breakthrough is connected to someone else’s freedom. The testimony God gave you may be exactly what someone else needs to believe that freedom is possible for them too.

Your freedom has purpose.
Your testimony has purpose.
Your access has purpose.

God didn’t give you the keys so you could become a gatekeeper. He gave you access so that others could discover the way too.

So as we continue through UNLOCKED, there’s one question we all have to answer:
What are you doing with your keys?

The momentum of Friends & Family Month continues at FRI!
Last week, Pastor Omar opened our UNLOCKED series by asking, “Which Key Will You Choose?” Our children spent VBS on a Kingdom Quest discovering God’s Kingdom, and together we were reminded that Jesus is the Key.

But this Sunday, Pastor Walkibel Zorilla took us one step further with a powerful question:
You found the Key.
The door has been unlocked.
Now… WHAT’S NEXT?

Drawing from John 14:12–14, Pastor Walkibel reminded us that accepting Jesus isn’t the finish line—it’s the beginning. There is more that God wants to reveal, more He wants to accomplish, and more He wants to do through a life that is completely surrendered to Him.

Last week we talked about choosing the right Key.
This week we were challenged to ask ourselves what we’re going to do now that the door is OPEN.

From VBS to our Kids & Teens Service and now another powerful Sunday in God’s presence, we believe God is building something in our children, our families, and our entire church. The momentum is growing, and Friends & Family Month is just getting started!

The question is no longer just, “Do you have the Key?”

What a powerful way to begin Friends & Family Month at FRI!

This Sunday was especially meaningful as our kids and teens took an active role in service. For many of our young people, it was their first time worshipping, dancing, praying, and boldly declaring their love for God in front of others. What a blessing it was to watch the next generation step forward without shame and experience God for themselves!
God moved mightily through every part of the service, and Pastor Omar brought a timely word titled “Which Key Will You Choose?”

Every key gives you access to something, but not every door is worth opening.
As we begin our August theme, UNLOCKED, we were challenged to think about the choices we make, the doors those choices open, and whether the keys we’re carrying are actually leading us where God wants us to go.

And what a perfect continuation of the week our young people experienced at VBS! During Kingdom Quest, they spent the week discovering what it means to seek God and gain access to His Kingdom. Now we’re praying that what was planted in them this week continues to grow long after VBS is over.

This is only the beginning of Friends & Family Month. We can’t wait to see what God continues to UNLOCK in our children, our teens, our families, and our entire church!
