First Lavaca Students We exist to help students find and follow Jesus.

1LS is a place where 5th-8th grade (Middle School Ministry) and 9th-12th grade (High School Ministry) can come and learn about the impact that Jesus Christ can make in their life through salvation.

🎉 8TH GRADE GETAWAY IS THIS WEEKEND! 🎉
It's hard to believe, but this is it! Our 8th Grade Getaway will be our final middle school event with this amazing group before they officially move up into the high school ministry. We can't wait to celebrate everything God has done in their lives with one unforgettable weekend together!
📅 July 31 – August 1

🕠 Friday
We'll meet at the church gym at 5:30 PM before heading to Topgolf for a couple hours of fun! Students should eat dinner before arriving or bring money to purchase food at Topgolf. After that, we'll head to the lake houses for an evening of hanging out, games, and a late-night party!

☀️ Saturday
We'll spend the day at the lake enjoying:
🏊 Swimming
🚤 Boating
🛶 Kayaking
🎣 Fishing
…and plenty more! We plan to head back around 4:00 PM.
