Canyon Ridge Local and Global Missions

Canyon Ridge Mission Statement:
To spark a movement of disciple-makers with too many generations to count in Las Vegas and beyond.

Be in prayer for the team that headed out for a "beyond" destination and will return on Oct 2.

May the team seek all the Spirit has in store for them and everyone they interact with. They desire "nothing more, nothing less, and nothing else."

A great event to go and see how you can make a difference by serving with one of our Local Outreach Partners Club Christ.

👀 Come See What Happens at Club Christ

Ever wondered what an afternoon at Club Christ actually looks like? Come find out.

Serve and See Days — Monday, September 28 & Tuesday, September 29

Spend 90 minutes at one of our Learning Centers. Watch a tutoring session or Bible lesson. Meet our Center Directors and volunteers. See the kids in their element. No application, no commitment — just come and see.

Pick the day and Center that works for you:

📍 Lake Mead West — 2:30–4:00 PM
📍 Las Vegas (Ferrell) — 2:30–4:00 PM
📍 Summerhill — 2:30–4:00 PM
📍 Henderson — 3:45–5:15 PM
📍 Hoggard — 4:15–5:45 PM

Every volunteer and partner we have started exactly this way — they walked in one afternoon and saw it for themselves.

✉️ RSVP with your date and location to Joyce Ray at [email protected]

We'd love to have you. ❤️

Mark your calendars to attend a special event with our Local Outreach partner, Casa de Luz.
Casa de Luz is personally inviting you to Casa from Above: A Tour of Hope on September 26 at the Strat.

This will be a special afternoon where our Casa kids will give tours and share what Casa means to them, the neighborhoods we’re part of, and the impact we’re making together. It’s a chance to see firsthand what God is doing through Casa and the incredible community of people who have come alongside us.

The event is completely free and includes food and refreshments. There will also be opportunities to give and support the work, but there is absolutely no cost or expectation to attend. Please invite as many people as you like.

To rsvp go to casadeluzlv.com/casa-from-above and fill out the form.

It would mean so much to have you there!

Thank you from our Local Outreach Partner Club Christ.
Every year through the generosity of the people of Canyon Ridge Christian Church we have budget to provide backpacks for the Club Christ Las Vegas Learning Center.
Check out Club Christ to see how you can get involved with the children and communities impacted by our partner.

Because of the collective generosity of Canyon Ridge, together we brought in 766 backpacks for kids in foster care in our community for the 2026-2027 school year! That is about $40,000 worth of school supplies back into our communities! Thank you for your prayers, generosity, and your commitment to sparking a movement of disciple-makers for too many generations to count!

There are more ways to get involved in the foster community.
