As the dawn breaks on a new year, let us give thanks for all we hold dear: our health, our family and our friends.

Let us release our grudges, our anger and our pains, for these are nothing but binding chains. Let us live each day in the most loving ways, the God-conscious way. Let us serve all who are in need, regardless of race, color or creed.

Let us keep God of our own understanding in our hearts and to chant God's name each day. Let us lead the world from darkness to light, from falsehood to truth and from wrong to right.

Let us remember that we are all one, embracing all, discriminating against none.

May your year be filled with peace, prosperity and love. May God's blessings shower upon you and bestow upon each of you a bright, healthy and peaceful new year.

The real meaning of Christmas is not the gifts that we give to each other. It is a reminder of the gift that God has given to each of us. It is the only gift that truly keeps on giving. It’s no about opening presents but about opening our hearts.

There are times when the physical, emotional, or spiritual challenges that a family experiences in the present are connected to the sinful choices and habits of their ancestors in the past. This is what we refer to as a generational curse. While we are not held responsible for all the sins of our ancestors, we must recognize that we can be influenced by their sins, or even inherit a propensity to certain sins because of their past actions.

Thankfully, Jesus Christ is the one who redeems us from the curse (Galatians 3:13-14), and can break the effect of any ancestral sins that may be influencing us today.

God wants to build our faith through each season. Seek God in all aspects of your life, for HE has never failed.
