Your mercy triumphs over judgment
Love wider than horizons, stronger than all sin

We have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. But God loved us and sent His Son, Jesus, who lived without sin, died in our place, and rose again.

Through faith in Him, we are forgiven, made right with God, and given new life.

That isn’t only the message we believed when we first came to Jesus. It’s the good news we need to remember every day!

Jesus really came.
Not as an idea, but in flesh and blood. Fully human, fully God.

“If we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬

Drift usually starts small.
That’s why we need people who know us well enough to notice when we’re getting off course, and love us enough to help us back.
Not to criticize, but to care for one another’s spiritual health.

As we wrap up our time in James, we’re grateful for all God has been teaching us together.

And this Sunday, we’re stepping into a new season.

We’ll begin our new series through 1 John, celebrate the Lord’s Supper together, and then stick around after the service for our Community Lunch.

A lot happening in one Sunday, but all of it centered around the same thing: gathering as a church family around the Gospel!

Waiting can make us fixate on the answer we want, the change we need, or the moment we hope will finally come. But what if part of faithfulness in the waiting is asking a different question?

Grateful for another Sunday together!

As we wait on God, may we stay faithful where He’s placed us, surrender what we can’t control, and seek Him more than the answers we’re waiting for.

A big thank you to Steve Ballew for pouring into our church this morning, and for sticking around to equip us to share the gospel clearly and confidently with the people God has placed around us.

What has God placed in your hands, and what would it look like to use it faithfully for His purposes?

This summer, we had the joy of sending teams near and far, and this past Sunday, we got to hear a little of what God did along the way.

Different places, different stories, same reminder: God is at work, and He invites ordinary, faithful people to be part of it.

Grateful for those who went, those who sent, and the God who goes before us.
