When God Changes Your Identity
2 Corinthians 5:14-21

Bishop’s message this Sunday is “Love Is Still The Answer.”

The accompanying scripture is 1 Corinthians 13:1-13

One of the foundational principles of being a Christian is displaying love. We are called to be a light in a dark world. We are called to demonstrate there is a better way to live.

Before there was a sanctuary, there was swampland.

Today, we celebrate 54 years of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church and the faithfulness of the God who has sustained us through it all.

Listen as two of our earliest members take us back to the beginning: how PRBC got its name, what they saw when they first stepped onto the property, and how the Spirit of God has been with this church from the start.

Through every season and every change, His presence has remained.

Come worship with us THIS MORNING as we honor our history, celebrate His faithfulness, and look forward with faith to what’s next! ❤️

Whether you’ve been here for decades or are walking through our doors for the first time, there’s a place for you at Pilgrim Rest!

What if your next season requires you to stretch beyond what's comfortable?

On Communion Sunday, Bishop Ed Rockett continued his series, "Take the City," from Joshua 8:18-19, challenging us to stretch beyond the limitations of our past and what we can see.

Enlargement requires stretching. Where are you willing to stretch?

Watch below to hear how Joshua's journey challenges us to move forward in faith!
