Sunday, June 21, 2026 - A Bittersweet Day

This Sunday was Pastor Tim Drum’s last service as the pastor of Jackson’s Grove before moving to North Carolina.

After the service, Pastor Drum and the congregation participated in a beautiful dove release, that was facilitated by LJ Meyers and his incredible Homeward Angels, to commemorate bittersweet endings and new beginnings.

Then everyone enjoyed food and fellowship on the church grounds.

We will forever miss Pastor Drum and his family, but we pray God’s blessings on them in this next chapter. ❤️🙏

Blessing Box Dedication Ceremony

Last weekend members and friends of Jackson’s Grove United Methodist Church participated in a very special event dedicating the Blessing Box in Landrum SC to the memory of Jim Long.

The Blessing Box is a ministry started by members of Jackson Grove United Methodist Church with the goal of reducing hunger in Landrum. During this season of Thanksgiving we encourage everyone to consider donating items to the box for those who are in need.

Items can include non-perishable things like canned goods, pasta, produce, soap, toothbrushes, pet food, and detergent.

The Blessing Box is located by the Landrum Veterinary Hospital at 1600 E. Rutherford Street, is always open, and the goal is to keep it stocked at all times.

If you are able to help us with this mission, please feel free to leave new, unperishable goods in the box. If you would like to donate money to help keep the Blessing Box filled, please visit the 'Giving' tab at JacksonsGrove.org, or contact Susi Coghill at [email protected].
