1. Move beyond complacency
2. Desire transformation rather than conformation
3. Put yourself in the path of blessing through obedience
4. Be open and honest with God. Be specific when it comes to repentance
5. Make restoration (and restitution) where needed
6. Line yourself up with Scripture
7. Be serious minded
8. Deliberately narrow your interests
9. Have a heart for sharing the Gospel with the lost
10. Make worship THE priority
