Starting this Sunday @ 9:45 we will be combining the adult Sunday school classes into one. We will be gathering in the fellowship hall. Jeff will be leading us in this new adventure. Anyone and everyone is welcomed!

Weariness often settles in quietly, draining joy from the heart before we notice how tired we have become.

Lord, be my joy when my soul feels worn down.

There are seasons when life feels heavy. Responsibilities keep growing, disappointments remain, and daily burdens leave the spirit exhausted. In those moments, joy can seem far away, almost impossible to reach.

But God gives a joy that is deeper than changing circumstances.

His joy is not built on perfect days, easy answers, or trouble-free seasons. It flows from His presence, His love, and the certainty that He never leaves us to carry life alone. When our hearts feel weary, He restores us with hope, steadies us with peace, and gives us strength to keep going.

Sometimes joy comes back gently. It returns in prayer, in quiet reminders of His faithfulness, and in the moment we realize He has been holding us the whole time.

A tired soul does not mean God is absent. It is often the very place where His comfort becomes clearest.

When we rest in Him, the weight begins to lift, and the heart learns to breathe again.

“Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10

Prayer:
Lord, be my joy when my spirit feels weary. Restore my heart when life feels heavy, and fill me with the peace that comes from being near You. Remind me that my strength is found in You alone. Lift my soul, renew my hope, and help me rest in Your unfailing love each day. Amen.
