Pope Leo’s prayer intention for the month of June invites us to reflect on the power of sports to bring people together across cultures and nations.

Whether on the field, in the stands, or within our own community, may we always strive to treat one another with dignity, solidarity, and compassion.

Saint Sebastian, patron saint of sports and athletes, pray for us! ⚽🏈🏀🎾

Today is the feast day of Saint John I!

Saint John I served as pope from 523–526 and helped restore unity between the Eastern and Western Churches after years of division known as the Acacian Schism. He was also the first pope to travel to Constantinople on a diplomatic mission. Though he worked for peace, political tensions led to his imprisonment and he died as a martyr in 526.

Saint John I, pray for us, that we may work for unity and peace.

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations... and behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

As Jesus ascended into Heaven, he entrusted his disciples with the mission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations. The Ascension reminds us that Christ is always with his Church, guiding us in faith and calling us to live as witnesses to His love and truth.

May is the month of Mary! As we reflect on our Blessed Mother and her fiat, we invite you to honor the many women who have nurtured, guided, and loved with a mother’s care.

Whether it’s your mom, a grandmother, godmother, mentor, sister, or another faithful witness in your life, take a moment to thank them for the gift they are today!

Mary, our Mother, pray for us.

In today's Gospel reading, Jesus reminds us that a fruitful life begins by staying close to him. When we remain rooted in his love, our lives bear lasting fruit — but apart from him, we cannot thrive.

🙏 Lord, help us to remain in you each day, trusting that you are the source of all good in our lives.

On this feast of Saint Joseph the Worker, we honor the dignity of human labor and the quiet faithfulness of Saint Joseph, who provided for the Holy Family with trust in God.

Through his example, we are reminded that all work can be an offering of love when done with care, integrity, and devotion to the Lord.

Saint Joseph the Worker, pray for us.
