On Mother’s Day, we celebrated the beauty, strength, and grace, of the sisters in our congregation; the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, godmothers, mentors, and spiritual mothers each one reflecting, love, and care in her own unique way.

We began with a reminder from the words of Proverbs 31: 25, “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” The sisters showcase their lovely hats and fascinator while we honored the strength, wisdom and dignity that each woman carries every day.

Each sister received a rose however, we recognized the youngest mother and honored the eldest mother.

✨ A Heartfelt Thank You From the Clover Park Church of Christ Family ✨

Our hearts are full. ❤️ This week, our congregation — with the generous partnership of Blanket Coverage, The Richard Sherman Family Foundation — was blessed with the opportunity to serve our community in a big way.

Because of this outpouring of love and support, we were able to provide:

🍽️ 45+ Thanksgiving baskets, along with a
💳 $100 grocery gift cards to help families stretch a little further ((from the RS foundation 🙌🏽)
🥪 110 sack lunches to our unhoused neighbors
🧦 200+ pairs of socks
🧤 Two 42-gallon bins filled with blankets, sleeping bags, ponchos, emergency blankets, hand warmers, and more

Although we didn’t capture photos — we were joyfully focused on serving — please know how grateful we are for every person who donated, prayed, packed, delivered, or encouraged. You helped shine God’s love in a real and needed way. 🙏🏽✨
