Established in 1959, the congregation serves individuals and families who live in the South Puget Sound area.

A special ministry includes outreach the armed forces personnel and their families at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. For over 50 years God's people have gathered here around Word and Sacrament to proclaim the Gospel — God's love for all demonstrated in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Dear friends and family of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

As many of you know, Ursala Farash, our beloved Sister in Christ, passed away in late December.

We invite you, on February 8, 2025, to gather with us at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 10333 Bridgeport Way SW in Lakewood for a memorial service for Ursala. Following the service there will be a time for everyone to gather and share memories of Ursala and tell stories of the time she spent with us as a friend and faithful child of God.

The Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Please join us as we come together and celebrate Ursala's memory and share the hope of salvation in Christ Jesus our Savior.

As we draw near to the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ, mark your calendars and join with us as we worship the birth of God's only son.

December 24th, 9:00 pm Candlelight Service with Holy Communion

December 25th, 10:00 am Christmas celebration with Holy Communion.
