Classes start this week! Sunday morning at 9:00 adults will be continuing their study of Believe by Randy Frazee and children will continue learning about Jesus from the Gospel of Luke! Wednesday morning Life Group restarts in the fellowship room at 10:00 AM Wednesday with a study of the book of Isaiah! Come and be blessed!

Our hearts break at the news of gang violence in Kenscoff, Haiti, where many people lost family members, churches, and homes in a devastating attack this past Sunday. Our church has a long history of partnership with these beloved people, and we pray for healing, comfort and courage for all those affected by this tragic event.

It's back-to-school week for our students and educators, and we are praying for you! Wednesday our students talked about friendships that "sharpen us" (and we had a fun pencil sharpening relay!) Each student was prayed for individually by one of our wonderful volunteers. Today our building is bustling with teachers and students, and we are so thankful! And to finish off this special week, this Sunday kids can bring their backpacks for our backpack blessing Sunday! Hope to see you there!

A highlight for this summer has been watching our children act out the book of Acts on Sunday mornings! The skits have been so instructive and encouraging! Can't wait to see what they do this Sunday!

It's our quarterly day of prayer and fasting! Today it is based on Acts 3:1-16. Whether you are joining Gary at the building at 10:00 or praying at home, we invite you to think of ways you have received healing and wholeness from God, and ways you are still seeking God's intervention.
