Week 3 of Mature-ish and Kaci Mexico challenged us in the BEST way. 🔥

Galatians 5:22 says the fruit of the Spirit is “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness…”

Not niceness. Kindness.

Because nice keeps things comfortable. Kindness loves us enough to lead us toward what’s good - even when getting there is a little uncomfortable.

That’s how Jesus leads us. Not with shame or condemnation, but with kindness that leads us to repentance and gentleness that leads us toward freedom. ❤️

“He makes me lie down in green pastures.”

Sometimes we won’t rest unless we’re forced to. John 15 reminds us that no branch bears fruit on its own; it has to stay connected to the vine. Rest isn’t wasted time. It’s part of how God produces fruit in us.

If you’re running on empty, maybe it’s time to stop striving and stay connected to the One who sustains you.
