Our annual KC Blood Drive was held on Sunday, August30, 2026. Steve and Tammy McLin chaired the Blood Drive and reported that the drive was a huge success! Thanks to the donations of our parishioners, visitors, and the volunteers who helped with the drive. We were able to surpass last year's donations of 38 units. This year 44 people signed up to donate and every collection bag was used!

On behalf of the Knights, we would like to thank everyone who participated and supported this life giving event for making the annual KC Blood Drive a huge success. THANK YOU!

KC Council 8878 welcomes our first new Knight of the Fraternal Year! Jerome "Pete" Morales was initiated before the general membership meeting on July 7, 2026. Pete is p[ictured with our new GK Don Manzella. Congratulations to our newest Third Degree Member!

We also would like to thank John Dawson, Steve McLin, and all the KC members who participated in the initiation program.

As our nation celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Indepence on July 4, 2026, our KC Council held a Veterans Award Ceremony. The ceremony and lunch honored those KC members of our Council who are veterans for their serve and their contributions to the freedoms we all enjoy in the United States.

The program included two guest speakers and each veteran was presented a medal and certificate in appreciation for their service to our country. KC Assembly 2047 provided the Honor Guard for the program.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the program, cooking and serving the meal, and set up and clean up. We especially want to thank Kevin and Josette Juge for all their hard work in organizing, coordinatng, and decorating for the Veterans Award Ceremony.

KC Council 8878 and the Ladies Auxiliary held their annual Installation of Officers for the 2026 - 2027 fraternal year. District Deputy Don Pourciau conducted the Installation of Officers for the Knights. Paula Gebhart, Diocesan Membership Director, installed the Officers of the Ladies Auxiliary. A reception and dinner followed in the ICC Parish Hall.

Thank you to everyone who gave of their time and talents to make this event so successful.

Our Knights are busy again supporting ICC Parish Activities. On Friday, June 12, 2026, our Knights provided a meal for the last day of Vacation Bible School for the children from our Church Parish. The Knights donated the food, prepared, and packaged individual meals for self serve to the students for their lunch.

Thank you to all the Knights who helped prepare and serve the meals. And a very special thank you to all the volunteer teachers and helpers who worked with the children this week for our ICC Vacation Bible School.

Our KC Ladies Auxiliary is always supporting all of the projects, fundraisers, and ICC Parish Projects. In appreciation for all the Ladies Auxillary does for our Knights and the ICC Parish Family, our Council honored the Ladies with a dinner before their monthly meeting on June 9, 2026.

Thank you to all of the Ladies Auxiliary for all that you do to support the Knights. And a special thank you to all the Knights who helped prepare and serve the Ladies their meal.
