Growing in Grace & God’s Glory — GKIDZ Children’s Ministry ❤️

The anointing and calling God has placed upon my life as Children’s Ministry Coordinator continues to bring blessings, joy, and a richness of happiness beyond measure. My heart is filled with gratitude for the privilege of serving His precious children and witnessing His grace at work in their lives.

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” — Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)

Our GKIDZ are learning about God’s grace, His love, and His faithfulness, but the beautiful blessing is that my Grace Growers and I receive just as much from these precious children as we pour into them. They remind us of the beauty of childlike faith, the power of love, and the joy found in growing together in Christ.

Today, we also began working on a special activity that we look forward to sharing later in November. We are excited to see how God will use this opportunity to continue planting seeds of faith and nurturing the gifts He has placed within our children.

How beautiful it has been to witness our once-quiet, shy, and bashful youngsters blossom! Through the light of God’s love, the laughter of fellowship, the encouragement of our Grace Growers, and the loving support of Pastor Darrell, Donnia, and each and every one of you here at Grace Life Family Church, these children are growing in confidence, faith, and joy.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16 (NKJV)

Thank you for being part of the village of faith that surrounds our GKIDZ. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, love, and the countless ways you help create an environment where every child can feel welcomed, valued, and loved.

What a blessing it is to serve alongside people who understand that our children are not simply the future of the Church — they are an important part of the Church today!

My heart is overflowing with appreciation for what God is doing in and through our GKIDZ ministry. May we continue to plant His Word, nurture their faith, celebrate their growth, and watch them blossom in His grace.

Together, we are growing more than children; we are nurturing hearts, building faith, and planting seeds that will continue to bear fruit for God’s Kingdom.

Todays G-Kidz rocked it and had fun! They learned about Gods Light and how it shines they learned about the fruits of the spirit as well. Nothing spooky with these cute little turkeys and pumpkins. Today's grace growers were Amber and Tammy- They celebrated Maddie's 10th birthday and had homemade treats from Helen :) They learned about Psalm 119:105 NKJV, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." And another Message was Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV "But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self- control. Against such there is no law"

The Lesson:
God's word shows us how to live, how to make choices, and how to respond to the situations we face each day. His word helps us recognize the difference between anger and responding with patience, between seeking revenge and offering forgiveness, and between walking in fear and trusting him. God's word provides the direction we must be willing to follow it.

Our G-Kidz celebrated a special young girl yesterday our own Sophia H. The kids sang Happy Birthday to her and after G-Kidz learned about King Uzziah and how he prospered when he followed God. He became king at a young age, and with God’s help he grew strong, built up his kingdom, and achieved many good things. His story reminds us to seek God’s guidance, work hard, and stay humble as we succeed.

Today in G-Kidz, we learned that God's Peace is all about love, kindness, no drama, and joy (basically the opposite of a kid's birthday party 😂). Our rockstar Grace growers, Tonya and Mary, tried to sing P-E-A-C-E to the Bingo theme song... let's just say it was a good thing they got the P-E-A-C part down, even if they did swap the final E for an O 🤣. The kids were DYING laughing! And, fun fact: they even got stumped in a game of hangman featuring our past few weeks' lesson words (Provision, Healing, and Forgiveness). But the real a-ha moment came when they realized that Jesus' trip to the cross was all about forgiveness and healing, and how that ties in with God's Peace and Provision. Oh, and they gave Pastor Darrell and Pastor Josh the best gift ever - handprints that say 'Thanks, Pastors, for showing me God's love is the best! 🙏'

Hello, Our Amazing GKIDZ Parents!

Today, we sent home a “Blessing Tree” form for you and your child(ren) to complete together.

Our Blessing Tree is not a “typical” Christmas tree. During this special Christmas season, we are celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, while also taking time to recognize the many blessings our GKIDZ bring throughout the entire year.

Throughout the year, our GKIDZ are growing in their Grace-filled lives—learning to live and love in God’s grace, building a strong foundation of faith, learning about the Armor of God, and developing a personal relationship with Him.

As they grow, we at Grace Life Family Church (GLFC) have the wonderful privilege of experiencing their growth hands-on!

Our GKIDZ serve and participate in so many special ways, including:

- Helping in the Oasis Café
- Greeting others at the door
- Putting out and bringing in the Welcome Flags
- And, especially, every other month, sharing their gifts by singing and dancing during Praise & Worship!

Our GKIDZ are not simply attending church—they are actively serving, growing, learning, and sharing God’s love with our congregation.

Because of all they give throughout the year, GLFC would like to bless our GKIDZ with a special Christmas gift as a small expression of our love and appreciation for everything they pour into our church family.

Please know that your child(ren) bring love, laughter, joy, and God’s grace across the aisle, across the street, and even across the world—just as Pastor Darrell and each of us in Children’s Ministry strive to do.

We are so thankful that you entrust your precious children to us. It is an absolute honor and privilege to share God’s grace, His truth, and His love with them each week.

Miles of Smiles with Bounty of Blessings! 💕🌳🎄

While we are on Christmas (Don't come for us Tammy and Mary are planning this in advance) We have a spot in the Christmas Parade that takes place in December-December 12th to be exact. We have a anonymous donation of costumes for our children to wear. We will have spots for 6 angels. And we have our Angel "Babies" picked out and our wisemen picked out and our Shepard picked out. When we get done with our trunk or treat we will reach out to our families and work something out with the parents.

G-Kids Sunday Lesson: God Is Our Shepherd! 🐑❤️

What a wonderful morning we had in G-Kids! Pastor Joshua taught the kids from Psalm 23, learning how God is not only our God and our Lord, but He is also our Shepherd. Just like a shepherd cares for and watches over his sheep, God lovingly takes care of us. Because He is our Shepherd, we can trust Him to provide everything we need!

Our memory verse today was Philippians 4:19 (KJV):
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

The kids did an excellent job today! They participated, listened, learned, and brought such great energy to our lesson. We are so proud of each one of them!

A special THANK YOU to our wonderful Grace Growers, Sister Monica and Sister Dana, for their awesome help and support alongside Pastor Joshua. We are so thankful for everyone who helps make G-Kids a place where our children can learn about Jesus, grow in faith, and discover just how much God loves them!

God is our Shepherd—and we can trust Him to take care of us! 🐑📖❤️

Today we had a blast with Grace Growers Mary, Ashley & Amber! They learned about Healing 101 🏥 and got to decorate their own crosses with their names on it (because, let's be real, who doesn't love a good DIY project? 🎨). They even got to practice their ninja skills by lowering a dinosaur and a butt pillow from the ceiling (because, why not? 🤣). And, of course, they learned why Jesus' followers had a front-row crowd for his miracles - who wouldn't want to see some serious healing action? 🙌
