“Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway; clear it of stones; lift up a signal over the peoples. Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your salvation comes!’” ISAIAH 62:10–11. Dear Friends,
God has given us a great and holy calling: to prepare the way for Messiah from the ends of the earth to Jerusalem! According to
Isaiah, the ends of the earth, the West, the East, the North and the South, have a special calling to say to Jerusalem: “Behold, your salvation comes!” This includes America, the Far East, Scandinavia, Russia, South Africa and Australia. Preparing the way for Messiah is to build “the Way of Holiness” (Isa 35:8) “to make ready for the Lord a people prepared” (Lk 1:17), “the glory of the LORD shall be revealed” (Isa 40:5) “and all flesh shall see the salvation of God” (Lk 3:5). We prepare the way for Messiah through teaching, the ministry of prayer and discipleship. Teaching
Everything God wants to do always begin with revelation from the Scriptures. Without knowledge and teaching from the Word of God we walk around in darkness and we cannot pray in line with God’s will. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hos 4:6)
Prayer
We are called to be watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem, who cry out to God day and night. “On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the LORD in remembrance, take no rest, and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth.” (Isa 62:6-7)
Discipleship
The goal of the teaching and the ministry of prayer is disciples transformed to be like our Master Yeshua. This is how the way is built that prepares the way for Messiah. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, …teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Mt 28:19-20)
