Making Room has been our focus project for 2025. Three amazing ways to make room.

Our FOCUS project is titled “Making Room” and it covers three important things:
MAKING ROOM for more students at Gethsemane de N’djamena-Bousso (GDNB) in Chad, Africa. Last year, our FOCUS Project was to help this new school by providing funds for security fencing and teacher housing. This year we are helping them build permanent classrooms to replace the temporary ones with thatched roofs.

MAKING ROOM for families at Lincoln Church and Community Center in North Dakota. This church plant acquired a building in February and we would like to help them prepare it to be used in their ministry to the families in their community. We are providing funds for a children’s playroom/mother’s room and for family games and activities for all ages!

MAKING ROOM for students from all over the world at Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, our CLB school in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Hillcrest has been welcoming local, national, and international students into their Christ-centered community for over 100 years. The dormitories aren’t quite that old, but they are in need of renovation and refurbishment. Women’s Ministries has a long history of providing furnishings for Hillcrest and we would once again like to be part of this effort to provide an environment where young people can be known and valued and are pointed to Jesus.

There is another opportunity for community and fellowship. Bethel LB church in Joice, IA will be hosting a Women’s event - Created for a Purpose - Saturday October 25 from 9 am to 2:30 pm. This will be a time of inspiration, rejuvenation, fun, & fellowship.

On Sunday, October 26 from 12 to 2 pm, Bethel LB church in Joice IA will also be hosting a family day. We invite all who would love to attend to come.

An amazing opportunity at the Community of Joy church, in Eagan Minnesota on October 25, 2025 from 10 am to 2 pm. They will be doing a workshop with Women Matter Period. They will be making period products to then send off with our missionaries in Chad.

Spring Women’s Retreat at Inspiration Point Christian Camp & Retreat Center.

Ladies of ALL ages!! We hope you will join us this spring for Women's Retreat! Heidi Lee Anderson will be joining us and speaking on the theme "The Goodness of God."
