What an amazing midweek service we had tonight!🙌

Thank you brother Troy Troy Moss for leading the study through 2 Corinthians this evening ! 🙏 As we learned tonight, Christian leadership and character isn’t defined simply by someone capable of preaching behind a pulpit. It’s not based on your skill or physical ability. Christian leadership and character is defined by the Lord and whom He alone commends!

2 Corinthians 10:18 ESV “For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.”

As we continue our walk through the rest of this week remember, it’s only God whose approval we need to seek! Remember we don’t wage this spiritual war through our flesh, but with divine power we destroy strongholds!

2 Corinthians 10:4 ESV “For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.”

See you all Sunday! 🤩

🛑 Which SIGN stands out to you most about false prophets and teachers?

👉Jesus said in the last days “there will be MANY false prophets that will arise and lead MANY astray.” Matt. 24:11

This is a sad but a true reality that Jesus said is going to happen. Thank God The Bible gives us a ton of scripture that perfectly describes false prophets and false teachers so we recognize them. But it is important we know the scriptures so that we can be on guard.

📝 One thing to keep in mind is that many of them became false prophets or teachers over time, many of them started out on the right track and over time drifted. Peter tells us,

“They have wandered off the right road and followed the footsteps of Balaam…” 2 Peter 2:15

Our Responsibility:

1. Know the Scriptures 📖
2. Pray for Discernment 🙏🏼
3. Keep your distance (2 Tim. 3:5 / 1 Cor. 5:11)
4. Guard your heart from any bitterness or hatred. 🖤
5. Pray for False Prophets and Teachers - that Holy Spirit will convict their hearts and bring them back on the right path. 🙏🏼❤️

Tonight, Daniel Torres Daniel Torres led the study through 2 Corinthians 9, reminding us of the importance of a willing heart, genuine generosity, and a life committed to reflecting the love of Christ. Tonight, Pastor Nellie shared from 2 Corinthians 7, and what a powerful message it was! 🙏

We read how Paul was deeply grieved to write a letter of correction to the Corinthian church. Yet he had no regrets, because their sorrow led them to genuine repentance and ultimately brought them closer to God.

Reflecting on the message from tonight, do you have any unrepentant sin in your lives?
It’s time to Bring it to the cross. Lay it down before cross, and allow the God of all comfort to bring forgiveness, restoration, and peace to your soul. There is comfort and freedom on the other side of repentance! 🙌
