🐏 Shepherd to King: Part 3 👑

Last night, we dug into one of the most well known stories in Scripture, David and Goliath!

David wasn’t the biggest.
He wasn’t the strongest.
He wasn’t the most experienced.

But David knew who he had on his side. 🙌

When everyone else saw a giant, David saw an opportunity to trust God.

Whatever your Goliath looks like, remember: the battle belongs to the Lord. You just have to have faith! 💪

👑 Shepherd to King: Part 2! 👑

Last night, Jason took us through 1 Samuel 16:1–13 and the moment David was anointed as king.

Was David young? YES.
Was he overlooked because he was young? YES.
Could God still use him? ABSOLUTELY YES! 🙌

David may have been overlooked by people, but God saw something different. His age didn’t disqualify him from being used by God and neither does yours.

You don’t have to wait until you’re older, more experienced, or “ready” for God to use you.

God can use you right where you are.❤️

He doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called!

🐑 Shepherd to King 👑

This week, we’re starting a new study exploring the life of David from shepherd boy to one of Israel’s greatest kings. Along the way, we’ll see the victories, struggles, mistakes, and moments of faith that shaped his story.

We’ll kick things off by learning more about David’s background, his family, and the lessons we can take from his life. We’ll also talk about practical ways to dig deeper into Scripture and build habits that help us grow in our faith throughout the week. ✝️

So grab your Bible, a fresh notebook, a highlighter, a pen, and bring a friend! We’ll see you Sunday at 5!
