We often treat study as something private, a way to grow, improve, or progress.

But Scripture tells a different story.

In Daniel’s life, knowledge was never just personal development. It became something visible. Something that shaped how he was seen, and ultimately, how God was revealed in a foreign place.

So the question is not only what you are learning…
but what your learning is becoming.

This week’s devotional reflects on how study can become a form of witness not through ambition, but through faithfulness in ordinary contexts.

It’s easy to say we’re distracted.
But what if distraction isn’t the real issue?

Jesus points deeper : “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21)

Your heart is not simply wandering ; it is attaching itself to something.
Attention follows affection. Always.

So the question is not just “Why can’t I focus on God?”
It is: “What has become more valuable to me than Him?”

Take a moment today to pause and reflect honestly.
What has been shaping your thoughts, your time, your desires?

Return to the message from Monday and sit with it again.
A simple heart is not an empty heart ; it is a rightly ordered one.

Let God realign what truly matters.

Some burdens are obvious. Others quietly settle into our lives until they begin to pull our hearts away from Christ.

Hebrews 12 reminds us to throw off everything that hinders us and run with perseverance.

Not every weight is sinful. But many things still keep us spiritually exhausted, distracted, and overwhelmed.

Biblical simplicity is not about escaping responsibility. It is about creating space for God again.

Martha was busy serving Jesus. Mary simply chose to be with Him.
Both loved Him, but only one chose what Jesus called ‘the better part.'

Take some time and continue to reflect on this throughout the week: what has been quietly distracting you from what matters most?

May we not become so busy with life, work, responsibilities or even service that we forget to sit at His feet.

“Only one thing is needed.” Luke 10:42

There's always something fighting for your attention.

Deadlines. Messages, plans, and pressure.
And without noticing, your heart becomes crowded.

Jesus said, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

The real question is not how busy your life is...... but what truly has your heart.

Take a moment today to pause, reflect and realign.

Martha wasn’t distracted by bad things.
She was distracted by good things placed in the wrong position.

Sometimes we become so busy doing things for God that we slowly lose the quiet posture of simply being with Him.

This week’s devotional reflects on Mary, Martha, distraction, grace, and the simplicity of choosing what matters most.
