⏱️ 12 minutes and 32 seconds.

That’s how long it took Pastor Denny to park, check in at Northlake KiDS, grab a coffee, and make it to his seat...

AND HE WAS RUNNING. 😂

Starting September 27, Sundays at Northlake are going to look a little different! With a bigger campus and two buildings, getting from the parking lot to your seat is going to take a few extra minutes.

So we want to start a new Northlake habit:

🙌 Aim to arrive 15 minutes before service starts.

Especially for families! Give yourself plenty of time to park, get your kids checked in at the KiDS & Student Center, make your way over to the Worship Center, grab a coffee, say hey to some people, and find your seat.

So set those alarms a little earlier, Northlake. We promise Pastor Denny won’t make you run. 😂

🌿 Fall Women’s Bible Study: The Faith to Flourish 🌿

Ladies, we would love for you to join us this fall as we walk through The Faith to Flourish by Christine Caine!

Life can leave us feeling uprooted by uncertainty, disappointment, loss, and circumstances we never expected. But God did not create us to simply get by. He has planted us to grow, bear fruit, and live with purpose. 💛

Over seven weeks, we’ll discover what it looks like to stay rooted in Christ through every season, deepen our faith, find peace in the midst of chaos, and flourish wherever God has planted us.

Each week includes biblical teaching followed by small group discussion, connection, and encouragement. 🌱

💍 Five Days to a New Marriage

Are you tired of having the same arguments over and over again? Does it feel like you keep getting stuck in the same patterns?

You don’t have to stay there. ❤️

Five Days to a New Marriage is an 8-week marriage intensive designed to help couples move beyond recurring conflict and build a stronger, healthier relationship. Through honest conversations, practical tools, and biblical encouragement, you’ll learn how to navigate challenges and rediscover joy, trust, and respect in your marriage.

Facilitated by Brooke and Trevor Swanson, this class is intentionally limited to approximately six couples, creating a personal and safe environment to grow together.

❤️ We love our town.

For 20 years, Northlake Church has had a simple calling: Love Jesus. Bring Hope. 🙌 Our vision is to see the North Shore become a City of God, a community where everyone knows someone whose life is being changed by Jesus.

📖 Jeremiah 29:7 calls God’s people to seek the welfare of the community where He has placed them. For us, that means loving the North Shore one neighbor at a time and bringing hope to every man, woman, and child.

Whether through mentors and reading buddies in our schools 📚, counseling and crisis care at the Northlake Hope Center 💛, or countless simple acts of service, we count it a privilege to serve our neighbors.

🏠 On Sunday, September 27, we will open the doors to our new home that we built for YOU!

Designed with our community in mind, it includes a new worship center, a café ☕, accommodations for individuals with special needs, an outdoor Tree Weave play area 🛝, a splash pad coming this spring 💦, and much more!

What happens when following Jesus costs us the approval of the people around us?

Jesus never promised that faithfulness would always be popular. But He calls us to live with courage, humility, gentleness, and love, refusing to trade obedience for approval.

The goal is not to win every argument or have everyone agree with us. The goal is for people to see Jesus.

Faithfulness to Christ may cost us the approval of the world, but it can never cost us the Kingdom of Heaven.
