Parents, the world is shaping your children every single day. The question is not whether they are being influenced, but who and what is influencing them.

This past Sunday in Courageous Parenting, we explored what it means to steer our children’s education. Courageous parenting requires us to be intentional, present, and engaged. Not fearful. Not passive. But wisely guiding our children toward the freedom found in God’s truth.

Jesus said, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

Our greatest desire is not that our children would simply succeed in this world, but that they would know Jesus and follow Him.

This past Sunday, we had the privilege of welcoming Pastor Zach back to Northlake to kick off our new series, Courageous Parenting.

Many of you may remember Zach from his years serving as our Youth Pastor and Community Groups Pastor. It was a sweet homecoming as he challenged us from Psalm 127 to think about how we’re investing in the next generation.

This series isn’t just for parents. It’s for anyone who has the opportunity to influence the next generation’s faith. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, mentor, volunteer, or friend, God has called all of us to help pass on the faith.

As Pastor reminded us:

➡️ Be Dependent on God
➡️ Be Counter-Culture
➡️ Be Intentional

Faith is meant to be passed down.

Hard hats, ministry plans, and a whole lot of excitement. 🏗️

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at our staff touring our future home and preparing for all that’s ahead. Lord willing, we’ll open our new building in early fall with services at 8:30 and 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM En Español.

Our current building will become home to Northlake KiDS, Northlake Students, and Northlake Español, creating even more space for ministry and discipleship.

The building is exciting, but what we’re most excited about is seeing what God will do through it. We can’t wait to worship, grow, and reach more people with the hope of Jesus in this new space.

Thank you for praying, giving, serving, and believing with us. God has been so faithful! 🙌

We are moving to two services starting this Sunday at 8:30am + 10:00am.
There will be no 11:30 service this week.

Then starting May 31, our new service times will be 8:30am + 10:30am.

*Northlake Español will continue meeting at 1:30pm*
