Good morning family and friends. In Psalm 73 the Psalmist explains his observation and how he felt toward the wicked. He said they refuse to honor God and they are physically and financially prosperous. He said it made him question why is he still trying to live right when nothing bad is happening to the wicked for the things that they do. In Psalm 73:16-17 he said that thought remained in my mind "Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then understood I their end." Friends, visiting the sanctuary of God gives us the true reason why we serve Him. We see his love for us, we receive the hope filled promises that one day soon and very soon the wickedness of the wicked will cease and we will be free to drink of the crystal clear water flowing from the throng of God. We will walk streets of gold. There will be no more death, sorrow, hurt, pain, no more crying, for we shall follow the Lamb of God wherever He goes. Let's look towards the Lord and remove our eyes off the temporary prosperity of the wicked. Then we will be able to experience the peace which passes all understanding, in the name of Yeshua, the Christ, amen. (I don't own the rights to this photo.)

Good morning family and friends, I won't keep you long. The goodness of God is extended for beyond Israel. Psalm 73:1 said "Truly God is good to Israel, Even to such as are of a clean heart." I am really going under my spiritual cabinet to grab my spiritual degreaser so I can clean my heart of the crude that does not belong. The purpose is so I can get the full benefit of the goodness of God. Lord, wash me and make me white as snow unclog my spiritual arteries so your goodness may flow without hindrance in me. This is my prayer, but I also pray this for all those in need of the same procedure done in their lives. Have your way O Lord in the name of Yeshua, the Christ, amen. Good morning family and friends. Today I'm beginning this devotion by saying "bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me," bless the Holy name of Yaweh. You'll see why. Today's text found in Psalm 72:17-18 says, "His name shall endure for ever: His name shall be continued as long as the sun: And men shall be blessed in him: All nations shall call him blessed. Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, Who only doeth wondrous things." Friends, take a look out side. If you see the sun, oh, that means the name of Yaweh is continuing and according to the text, blessings are attached to him. Ok, now you see why I said bless the Lord Yaweh, with all that is within me, because all He does is wonderous works, amen. Just think about it, you are a work of wonder done by God, praise Him amen.(I don't own the rights to this photo.)

Good morning family and friends. Living in this world can become extremely difficult with all of the daily demands. And now people on nearly every platform are questioning where is God, why did, or didn't God do? The Psalmist prayed in Psalm 71:12 "O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help." Friends, if the question where or why concerning God ever crosses your mind, do as Isaiah said in Isaiah 55:6 "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:" we're also told in Psalm 34:18 that "The LORD is near to them that are of a broken heart; And saves such as be of a contrite spirit." Friends, the Almighty Creator is closer to us than we could ever imagine. Call out to him and receive peace today. I have a friend who is a pastor, and he often told me that the Lord is sitting at the edge of His seat waiting on us to ask for help. Lord, you are close to us and able to be found, help us to trust our affairs in your hands. Right now we claim the promise that if we draw nearer to you, you will draw nearer to us, we are seeking you in the name of Yeshua, the Christ, amen. (I don't own the rights to this photo.)

Good morning family and friends. I'm sure you've read one of my devotions in the past where I said hind sight is 20/20. Well, today I'm saying it again. The Psalmist is praying for something that we know has already been promised and proven. In Psalm 71:9 part of his prayer is, "Cast me not off in the time of old age; Forsake me not when my strength fails." Then we find and experiencedthe Lord's response in John 6:37 "All that the Father gives me shall come to me; and him that comes to me I will in no wise cast out." Father, I want to thank you for showing us that you hear and answer prayer. The Psalmist prayer not to be cast out and then you said you would not cast out anyone who the father sends to you, and thus far each of us also have experienced your promise of drawing nearer to you and you will draw nearer to us. You also have been keeping the promised to never leave or forsake us. Thank you Lord for being true and faithful to your word, in the name of Yeshua, the Christ, amen. Good morning family and friends. Think about your life. Look back at what God has brought you through. There was a saying that save folks used to say, "I'm not what I aught to be, but praise God, I'm not what I used to be." That thought came to mind when I read Psalm 71:7-8 which said, "I am as a wonder unto many; But thou art my strong refuge. Let my mouth be filled with thy praise And with thy honour all the day." The change that God is doing in our lives should make us "a wonder to many." Have you experienced your change? Are you still going through your spiritual metamorphosis? Lord, cause us to be a wonder in this old dark world. Help us to move pefectly contrary to the course of this world. Give us your Holy Spirit to keep us flowing upstream even as others choose to flow downstream. This I ask in the name of Yeshua, the Christ, amen. (I don't own the rights to this photo.)

Good morning family and friends. Let's look at Psalm 71:1 "In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: Let me never be put to confusion." You know man put their trust in many things. Some put their trust in finances, politicians, spouses, children their parents, parents their children, employees their bosses, and parishioners their pastors. However, verse in 3 the Psalmist asked the Lord, "Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: Thou hast given commandment to save me; For thou art my rock and my fortress." Friends, our trust must be in the Lord or else we will be confused. Because most of my life I lived in a moble home, Verse 3 makes so much since to me. When storms come those in moble homes always have to look for better and stronger shelter. Just like so, we must allow the Lord to be our "strong habitation." Let's pray. Father, please be our strong habitation today, we also know that because you aren't the author of confusion we can put our trust in you. Though all around us may give way, we are able to trust in you and your word, that tells us you will never leave us or forsake us. Thank you Lord in the name of Yeshua, the Christ, amen. Good morning family and friends. I'm sure all of us have heard the saying what goes around comes back around. The bible says whatsoever a man sow that shall he also reap. Well today we are going to look at the first three verses of the Psalmist prayer in Psalm 70:1-3. He prayed, "Make haste, O God, to deliver me; Make haste to help me, O LORD. Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: Let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt. Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame That say, Aha, aha." The Psalmist is praying for God's help and a reversal of his enemy's plan. But when I saw the last part of verse 3 where it said, "Aha, Aha," I was reminded of a time when I was a kid and something bad would happen to someone who would always do bad things. How it was normal to say, "Aha, that is good for him or for her." But, the Apostles Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:11 "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." I pray today that our childish behavior that is used against other people are put away. I pray that even now we do as stated in Hebrews 12:14 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" Lord equip us with peace and holiness that not only will we see you but that we will be able to go home to be with you throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity. This I ask in the name of Yeshua, the Christ, amen. (I don't own the rights to this photo.)

Good morning family and friends. I couldn't pass up today's text without sharing it. Psalm 69:34 said, "Let the heaven and earth praise him, The seas, and every thing that moves therein." Why is that too important to pass up. Well this text is a parallel reminder of who God is and why He should be worshipped. Just as Exodus 20:8 begins with the word, "Remember," and Exodus 20:11 tells us what and why we are to remember. It says "for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." "God created the heavens and the earth, the seas and fountains of waters." We must remember that only the Creator is due all of our worship. Revelation 14:7 the last book of the Bible points us back to what happened in the first book and the first page of that book. It says, "saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." I couldn't pass up todays text because it reminds us to worship the God of creation and none other. We must fear or respect Him as He is the Creator of all things including you and me. Not only that the hour of His Judgment has come meaning it is taking place right now. In fact, 1 Peter 4:17 says God's judgment begins in His house. Friends, we are reminded that the Creator is observing our worship that is due to Him. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to remind you that God is expecting us to halt specifically on the 7th day from all our work and worship Him who has made us, Amen and amen. Good morning family and friends. As I was reading Psalm 69 there was a reference to the messianic prophecy and also the sacrificial law. But what God has always wanted his people to know is, he would prefer obedience more than he would prefer a sacrifice. Let's look at the texts in Psalm 69:30-31 "I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the LORD Better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs." Friends, seems like the text is saying, if we give God glory through daily living it will draw more attention to him than if we have to constantly repent and offer sacrifes. Lord, before we get to far in this day give us the desire to please you with our life. This I ask in the name of Yeshua, the Christ, amen. (I don't own the rights to this photo.)
