The Lord revealed that the city of Lafayette was hard ground, but nonetheless fertile ground. The Lord gave the tool to break through the hard ground of Lafayette, which was His word. John 17:17 'Sanctify them through Thy truth, Thy word is truth.' While also committing ourselves to prayer, we realized that it was the Lord who wanted Lafayette, as He declares in Isaiah 62:12 . . . 'Thou shalt be called, sought out, a city not forsaken.'

Bishop Omar brought a powerful and thought-provoking word on Conflict Resolution: Honor & Order, Part 2. 🙌🏾

One of the points he taught was about the Vashti Spirit and the importance of honor and respect in our relationships.

In the Book of Esther, Vashti dishonored her husband, the king, when she refused his command. Bishop Omar taught us how familiarity can cause us to lose honor for those who are in positions of authority.

Sometimes we can begin with honor calling our superiors Mr., Mrs., Pastor, Bishop, etc. but as we become more familiar, we can become too casual and lose the respect we once had. This principle can also apply in the home.

As parents, we can love our children, build relationships with them, and even be approachable, but we must never allow friendship to replace parental authority, order, and respect. 🫡

The Word teaches us to train our children in the way they should go. We must lead by example and show our children what honor, respect, obedience, and godly order look like.

Familiarity should never cause us to lose honor.
Let’s keep our relationships rooted in love, respect, and godly order. 🙏🏾🔥

✨ WOMEN’S NIGHT WAS AMAZING! ✨

What a beautiful time of fellowship with the women of God! 🙌🏾❤️ There is something powerful that happens when we come together, encourage one another, and lean on each other.

Sometimes we realize that the things we’re facing aren’t just our struggles—we’re not alone. We’re all growing, healing, learning, and trusting Yah through different seasons. 🙏🏾

It’s time to look in the mirror, be honest with ourselves, release what’s been holding us back, and LET GO! 🪞

Last Sunday, Bishop Omar taught about the importance of our Hebrew men being able to walk in their God given role as providers, protectors, and leaders within the Hebrew household.

He reminded us that our history has deeply impacted the family. After slavery, through Jim Crow and sharecropping, many Hebrew men faced tremendous obstacles that made it difficult to provide and establish themselves. In the struggle to survive and provide for their families, some were pushed into the streets, resulting in incarceration and families being left without their fathers.

As a result, many Hebrew mothers were left carrying the weight of supporting and holding the household together.

But Israel, it is time for the lions to awaken! 🦁

It is time for our men to return to the Lord, return to their families, and reclaim their God-ordained responsibility in the household. It is time for our homes to be strengthened and restored according to the ways of Yah.🙌🏾

Israel, let the Lions awaken! 🦁🔥

Let us get back to being ONE with the Lord, ONE with our families, and ONE within the Hebrew household.

The restoration starts with us. 🙏🏾

Deacon Brandon (Bear) Thomas gave a word on “Do Right” from Deuteronomy 10:12–13. 🙏🏽

We have a choice to serve God or not to serve God. To fear the Lord is to have a deep reverence and respect for who He is, understanding His holiness and allowing that reverence to lead us into obedience.

We are called to live to please God, pursue holiness, bear good fruit, serve others, and put Him first in every area of our lives. Loving God isn’t just something we say it should be visible through our actions, our choices, and the way we live.

Fear God. Live to please God. Love & serve Him. 🤍

Deacon Brandon “Bear” Thomas brought a powerful word! 🙌🏽 His second point was “Live to Please God.”

When we live by faith, we please God! The Word reminds us in Romans 1:17 that “the just shall live by faith.” And 2 Corinthians 5:7 tells us, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

As believers, we have to trust that Yah is working everything out for our good, even when we can’t see how it will happen. 🙏🏽 We cannot continue trying to do things our way we must surrender and follow Yah’s way!

Walk by faith. Trust His plan. Trust His timing. Trust His Word. 🙌🏾🙏🏾

Live to please Yah! HalleluYah! 🙌🏽🔥
