I am glad to be home and back in the parish after a wonderful pilgrimage! I can say that the Lord was reminding me how to be still! Here are the pictures from the 13 mile walk into Santiago on our last day of walking.

I am now heading back home to the United States. It has been another amazing pilgrimage on the Camino, including all the obstacles I faced this time! Thanks for all the prayers, my heel is sore but walkable! I was able to walk the last day, 13 miles into Santiago! I will post more later.

This has been a different Camino so far and God is completely in charge! On the first day my foot hit a rock while I was walking and talking to a pilgrim. By the second day it was hard to walk that foot. Then on the second day I got food poisoning and was really sick from 8 pm until 4 am, waking up every 15 minutes with stomach pain and going to the bathroom. That passed and today I am not sick anymore. Therefore I rested at the hotel without walking. Now I can walk with mild pain so I will be back to walking the Camino tomorrow. I have been offering this suffering for your intentions!

We had a nice walk today. It began cold and overcast, then the sun came out as we walked and warmed everything up! Finished with Mass at a historic Church named Santiago. We experienced the fresh seafood from the area! I am praying for all of your petitions!

Today was our first day of walking the Camino. I have a wonderful group from different states, including a couple who chose to walk the Camino for their honeymoon! Our walk today led us out of the city of Vigo and into a path that overlooked the inlets of the sea where pirates once hid. We experienced light rain and a cool breeze. We had the the smell of Eucalyptus as we walked through a Forrest. We ended in Redondela with a Mass at an historic pilgrim church named for Santiago

While waiting on my group to arrive tomorrow, I enjoyed visiting with a friend who is a priest in Madrid that I met last year.We walked around and I saw a few things.
