Scripture for today: Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowances for each other’s fault, and forgive anyone who offend you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive other others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect Harmony. And let the piece that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body, you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. (Colossians. 3:12-15 NLT)

This says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these these things I delight, declares the Lord.” Jeremiah. 9:23-24 ESV

Honeybees and the bellfree sounds very sweet. However, Africanized honey bees are not very sweet, nor are they in the bellfree. They have taken residence, a week ago, inside an AC unit in need of repair. Complications to say the least. Some of preliminary removal, cost estimates were devastating financially to a small church. With further investigation and help from the local game warden, the answer was found. The problem will be resolved tomorrow morning before dawned by local pest extermination company. The cost will not break hearts alone the bank. Now we will be able to move ahead with the second AC repairs before hot weather. The Lord is good and answers the prayers of His church as we continue His work.
The Real question is, if you are not part of the body of Christ’s local church why not? Single body parts can remain healthy cut off from the body which supports its life, nor can a believer who is not apart of the local body of Jesus Christ remain fully spiritually healthy.

There is no peace, says my God, for the wicked. (Isaiah 57:21 NASB) My dear friends, God says there is no peace for the wicked. It means those who have never turned to Jesus by repentance and faith will never find true, lasting happiness. Lasting happiness will always be just out of your grasp. Lasting joy and happiness will never found in self-centeredness. The source of true joy and lasting happiness is being Christ-centered instead of self-centered. Turn to Jesus by faith and become God- centered, joy and lasting happiness will find you.

Christians too many times we get caught up in a dwelling on short term world troubles instead,of looking forward to eternity. Lets us give this some thought this morning.
Isaiah 62:3 tells us what we have look forward to starting when we turn to Jesus. “ You shall be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hands of your God.” No wonder the Bible tells us in in the New Testament the suffering of this world is not to be compared to the glories God for us in eternity.

“Behold, the Lord‘s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor his ear heavy, that it cannot hear,” this the good news, but it is follow by very bad news.“ but your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you: so that He will not hear.” Isaiah. 59:1-2 Unless willful is confessed and forsake God is not obligated to make His presence known in our lives.

Prayer is talking to God. I very seldom write my prayers, but I do write them for special occasions. Especially for an community service, or event where Christians from various denominational backgrounds, and even those without faith are in attendance. I write a prayer because I can thread the prayer, through different opinions while still remaining faithful to God. But in the church and in my study and my devotions, my prayers come from the heart with conviction, and love my for Lord. Which is how the Heavenly Father wants you to talk to Him.
