We isolate God to emergencies while living by the philosophy 'I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.' Stop playing God in others' lives. James 4:11 calls us to stop speaking evil and judging our brothers and sisters. There's a difference between addressing sin with humility and putting others down out of self-righteousness. When we judge, we're placing ourselves above God's authority. Let's speak words that restore, not diminish.
