Operation Christmas Child is in full swing at LUMC!
We are so excited to continue our tradition of partnering with Samaritan's Purse to send gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need all around the world. Every single donation and prayer makes a massive impact!

Here is how you can get involved: Bring in gift donations for our September, October and November collections! Collection items for this month are school supplies. Drop off your donations in the basket in the gathering space.

Help us cover the shipping costs of a shoebox or sponsor "WOW" items. Reach out to the church office or our Missions Chair, Mandy Krzebietke ([email protected] | 608-797-4471 if you are interested.)

Join us before and after worship for craft making days. This month we will meet on Sunday, September 27th to make t-shirt jump ropes! We also need craft supply donations to help make this happen. (See lists of items needed.)

Thank you for your generous hearts and for helping us share the joy of Christmas with children globally!

Stories & Songs Around the Fire is back!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 27th at 5:00 PM!

We are gathering for another wonderful evening filled with great food, uplifting music, and personal stories of faith.

What's provided: Hot dogs and s'mores!

What to bring: A lawn chair or a cozy blanket, your singing voice, and—if you wish—a personal story of how God has touched your life.

Feel free to invite a friend, a neighbor, or anyone who would love a night of community by the fire. We can't wait to see you there!

Join us for a meaningful day of service and fellowship as we travel to Eagan, MN to pack meals for Feed My Starving Children. This is a fantastic, family-friendly event where we can make a tangible difference together!

Date: Saturday, October 24th
Meeting Time: 9:15 AM at the church
(Carpool departs at 9:30 AM)
Packing Shift: 12:00 PM – 1:45 PM
Who Can Come: Everyone! Children must be 5 years or older to participate.

After-Event Plans: We will head out for ice cream and fellowship together after our shift wraps up!

Sunday August 30th worship at LUMC!

In a world obsessed with social status, it’s easy to focus on our outward appearance. But this past Sunday, Pastor Chris challenged us to ask: What does God see when He looks directly into our hearts? ❤️There is so much comfort in knowing the God of the universe looks past the surface to see and love the true "inside" version of you. This week, let’s spend less time managing our image and more time cultivating our internal integrity and connection to God.

Bless my paper and my pen.
Guide my spirit deep within.
Help me think and help me play,
This whole school year, day by day.

As I move from class to class,
Guide my footsteps; clear my path.
Keep my tongue to speak your words.
Let your will for me be heard.

In every subject high or low,
May God's excellence be shown!
Keep me strong to reach the prize,
To grow in grace, becoming wise.

Whether far from home or near,
May I hold God's precepts dear.
To do my best at every task;
For this blessing, I do ask.

Help my family be a part
As I lift my mind and heart.
As I study, work, and pray,
Be with them throughout the day.

Of whom much is given, much is required.
May learning be your greatest desire!
