Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Today we’re grateful for the work God has given us to do and for the people who faithfully show up, serve others, provide for their families, and help our communities flourish.

And in the middle of all that work, Jesus reminds us where true rest is found.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

So today, take a breath. Slow down. Enjoy the people God has placed around you. Give thanks for the work He has entrusted to you, and receive the gift of rest.

Your worth is secure in Jesus, and rest can be an act of trust.

Baptism is a beautiful way to publicly share what Jesus has done in your life, and we want you to feel confident and prepared when that day comes.

At Baptism Class, we’ll talk through what baptism means, why we practice it, and what you can expect on Baptism Sunday. There will be plenty of room to ask questions, especially if you’re still figuring out what your next step looks like.

Come grab some breakfast and coffee, bring your questions, and spend some time with us.

Singleness is a season you can faithfully live right now, with your heart fully given to Jesus.

Paul reminds us that our circumstances do not determine the worth of our lives. What matters is what has our heart. Whether married or single, our calling is the same: to live with an undivided devotion to Jesus.

Your life is not on hold. God has entrusted you with this life, this season, and these opportunities to know Him, serve others, and make much of Him.

So take a moment and ask yourself: What has my heart?

Where is my time going? What am I giving my attention to? What am I ultimately living for?

A life fully devoted to Jesus is a life worth giving ourselves to, in every season.

TEAM PARTY = AMAZING 🎉

Our Serve Team is the real deal.
These are people who show up early, stay late, pour the coffee, hold babies, set up pipe & drape, carry the heavy stuff, and quietly make room every week for people to meet Jesus.
No spotlight. No applause needed. Just a towel in their hands and a yes in their hearts.
That’s the Kingdom.
Not flashy. Faithful.�Not building our names. Making much of His.

So we threw them a party. Boots on. BBQ gone. Laughing until it hurt. Celebrating people who are building something bigger than themselves, something that will outlive all of us.
There is nothing more worthy of our sweat, sacrifice, and lives than seeing the name of Jesus go further.
And there’s still room for you.
You don’t need a title. You just need to say yes and pick up a towel.

We recently started a new kids curriculum at Heirloom called God's Kids (through RightNow Media), and we're loving it. Every Sunday we're pointing kids straight to Jesus through the story of God's Word.

Family is a good gift from God.

But sometimes the good things in our lives can quietly become the things that keep us from God.

In Luke 14, Jesus tells a story about people who had been invited to a great banquet, but they let good things become reasons to say no to Him.

What good thing have you allowed to take first place in your life?

God gave you a family to make much of Him. And when Jesus is first, we learn to love our families the way they were meant to be loved.
