Our keiki are helping get ready for this weekend’s services by folding bulletins! We love seeing our kids be part of the life of the church and learning that everyone has a place to serve.

Church isn’t just something we attend. It’s a family we get to be part of!

THE BEATITUDES | CONTINUING OUR SERIES

This weekend at Waipuna Chapel, we’re continuing our series through The Beatitudes in Matthew 5. Jesus turns our understanding of what it means to be blessed upside down and invites us into a life marked by humility, mercy, purity, peacemaking, and a deep hunger for God.

Pastor Todd will be teaching at our Makawao campus and Pastor Jonathan at our Kula campus! Come worship with us, open God’s Word together, and discover more of what Jesus has to say about the life He calls us to.

There’s something powerful about a hug.

At Waipuna Chapel, we believe church is more than a place we gather. It’s a family we belong to. We laugh together, worship together, pray together, and walk through life together.

Because following Jesus was never meant to be done alone.

🙏 We believe in the power of prayer.

In the middle of busy days, beautiful seasons, and difficult moments, prayer reminds us that we are never alone. We can bring our joys, our burdens, our families, our community, and our island before a God who hears us and cares for us.

Prayer isn’t just something we do when we need help. It’s how we draw near to Jesus, surrender our lives to Him, and seek His will together.

As our Waipuna ‘ohana here in Maui, let’s be people who pray for one another, pray for our community, and pray without ceasing.

What does it mean to be blessed? And more importantly, how do we become someone who is blessed?

The kind of life that God is inviting us to in His Kingdom, is marked by counter-intuitive, paradoxical attitudes and postures of heart. It is a life that may not look the way that we imagined, but it is so much better than we could have hoped. In this series we will unpack the iconic teaching of Jesus known as “The Beatitudes”

🌊 JONAH: RUNNING FROM GOD 🌊

This weekend, we’re diving into the story of Jonah and discovering what it means to trust God, follow His calling, and remember that His grace reaches farther than we could ever imagine.

Aloha, Pastor Kaipo here.

I am leading a two-day storm clean up mission.
Tomorrow, Friday (Statehood Day) I plan to work on trees, specifically cutting and chipping.
A few families have reached out for assistance.
We will meet at Waipuna Chapel at 9a, do a quick warm up tree project on the property, then head out into Upcountry to do a few more projects.

On Saturday, we will paint. A family who attends our Makawao service lost their roof, making their home unlivable. They have a family home they can move into that requires significant renovation. They have already gutted and cleaned the interior. We will prime and paint the interior on Saturday.
