It is nearly Pentecost Sunday! The Spirit has come to give out the life giving gifts and graces of God. May God's love, joy and peace abound and may we share the Gift with others.

It is also the birthday of the Church, God's people joined to Christ in whom his Spirit abides. After worship we'll have "birthday cupcakes" and a piñata for more goodies.

After the fall, the Cherubim stood guard to block the way to Eden. In the Ascension, Christ enters the paradise to reopen the gates, restoring humanity to God the Father—the Source of Life.

As Charles Wesley writes in the great Easter hymn: "Love’s redeeming work is done! Christ has opened paradise!"

Before worship on May 10th at 9:30 AM, we’ll be having our annual Mother’s Day breakfast where we honor the mothers of our church! Men and children can sign up to bring a breakfast dish on the sign up sheet in the foyer or by texting Pastor Jackson what items you will be bringing.

This Thursday is our Spring Work Night! Join us as we work together to clean up and beautify the church!

Next Thursday 4/30 is our Spring Work Night! We are are cleaning up the church grounds in preparation for the warmer weather soon to come. We'll be working from 5:00 PM to dusk, so come and go as you are able. Pizza and snacks will be provided!
