Wow! I love this younger generation who wants to volunteer. We had 4 young, up-and-coming full-time workers volunteer today. We served 75 families today and were blessed with extra food because we were closed on Monday. Summer is here, so we know more families will be needing help. We are open Mondays from 4-6pm and Wednesdays from 1-3pm at 2012 S. Goyer Rd. Free clothing and food are available. We are serving people twice a month at this time, as long as we have food.
We spent our 37th wedding anniversary serving our Community that we love!

Last night was our last Alpha meeting. As a Pastor, I highly recommend this discipleship ministry to reach people and take others deeper. It also helps a lot of our congregation to think about and communicate their past in small groups. We had an awesome group who really opened their hearts to the Lord. We are looking forward to offering Alpha this fall to whoever wants to connect, hear great teachings, and enjoy a free meal with great fellowship.

What a day/week at Hands of Grace Storehouse! We had to close on Monday because of the severe storms. Today, we broke our old record of 82 families served; we served a record 91 families today, and it was a crazy, good busy day! We are so thankful for our volunteers who serve in this ministry. It really takes a team of people working well together to do all that we do. We've also gotten our first harvest of greens from our church's garden - 30 pounds - and were blessed with fresh heads of lettuce. We are in need of egg cartons and plastic bags. Thanks to Food Finders for delivering more food for us to give away! It's a thank you, Jesus! We will be closed this Monday for Memorial Day, so on Wednesday, the 27th, we will serve from 1-3 pm at 2012 S. Goyer Rd, Kokomo.
