I had a bad day, something that I had depended on was taken away…in that moment I felt fear and uncertainty…… BUT then I calmed my mind and reminded my heart that God is my Source.

I had an amazing day, something unexpected came that surpassed even my dreams…in that moment I felt happiness that wanted to exalt itself to pride…..BUT then I calmed my mind and reminded my heart that God is my Source.

I suffered loss, something so painful that it felt unbearable….in that moment I felt such deep sorrow that I feared it would consume me….BUT then I calmed my mind and reminded my heart that God is my Source.

I received abundance, so much that it is easy to disconnect from the authentic version of myself…in that moment I was tempted to focus on the things I had received and lose sight of what was important….BUT then I calmed my mind and reminded my heart that God is my Source.

In the good and the bad, in the highs and the lows…I will not trust in abundance and I will not perish by loss…for I have calmed my mind and reminded my heart that God is my Source.
