What a wonderful Sunday we shared with District Superintendent Dr. Sam Dzobo! Several from French Broad also attended DS Dzobo’s ordination service this afternoon at First UMC Maryville.

It was a beautiful and very moving service, and we were grateful to be there to support him.

Today the French Broad UMC celebrates the restored health of our pastor Larry Dial!
Larry retired five years ago and has since lovingly shepherded our historic country church.

We have a unique flock. A great gaggle of children, their parents, and a few gray beards who all benefit from LARRY’s unique discipleship style!

We are very blessed and thankful! Praise be to God!
