“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”

Words cannot describe the way the Lord moved in this retreat. It was filled with his joy, love, and power. It wasn’t the house, it wasn’t anything WE could do, it wasn’t the room, but by His Spirit! Everyone left this retreat with a greater intimacy with the Father, more joy, and a rise in faith. We know the highest place to be is at the feet of Jesus. The feet of the know who is freedom. The feet of the one who left the 99 for the 1. The feet of a humble and righteous king. Jesus. You always amaze us. We stand in awe. You never fail. Exceedingly, abundantly, above all.

“If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.”
