Give dignity. Help a neighbor thrive.

Throughout September, First Baptist Church Kirtland is partnering with ECHO to collect essential hygiene and personal-care items for individuals and families in our community.

We’re inviting our church family and neighbors across San Juan County to help us fill the need. Even one package can make a difference.

Most-needed items:
• Feminine pads with wings
• Pull-ups & diapers, especially 4T and sizes 2–6
• 2-in-1 shampoo & conditioner
• Toothbrushes

Drop-off: First Baptist Church Kirtland
17 Road 6500, Kirtland, NM 87417
Throughout September 2026

These everyday essentials may seem small, but to a neighbor in need, they can provide comfort, confidence, and dignity.

Pick up an extra item while you shop this week and bring it with you to church. Together, we can make a difference in our community. ❤️

Salt was never meant to stay in the shaker.

Jesus didn’t call us to be salt and light only inside the church walls. He calls us to step outside our comfortable circles, build relationships with people whose lives may look different from ours, and share the hope we’ve been given.

Our faith was never meant to stay in a “soapy clean social bubble.”

We’ve been saved, equipped, and sent for a purpose.

Who is God calling you to step outside your bubble and reach?

“You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world.” Matthew 5:13–14

What a way to kick off the year!

Our Kids for Christ & BOLD Youth Kick-Off Party was filled with pizza, games, laughter, and plenty of fun at Kirtland City Park!

We’re excited for another year of helping our kids and youth grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and learn what it looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life. A huge thank you to all the families who joined us and to the volunteers who helped make the evening possible!

Kids for Christ & BOLD Youth meet Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.

We’d love for your family to join us this year!

Game Day was a blast! Thank you to everyone who came out for an afternoon of games, snacks, laughter, and some serious friendly competition! 😄

From old favorites to new games and, of course, our Spoons Tournament, we loved seeing kids, adults, families, and friends simply enjoying time together.

Congratulations to our Spoons Tournament winner! 🏆 And a big thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon possible.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to gather, connect, laugh, and build relationships with our church family and community.

Until the next Game Day!

Worry never whispers.

It takes the whole day. Philippians 4:6 gives a clear switch, not a vague comfort. The command is direct: do not be anxious about anything. The replacement is just as specific: in every situation, bring your requests to God.

That means when deadlines hit, when conflict shows up, when uncertainty stretches out, you do not have to wait until it feels “big enough” to pray. The action is practical.

By prayer and petition, with thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving does not mean pretending everything is fine.
It means you still trust God’s care while you ask.

1. When worry rises, pause.
2. Stop the spiral.
3. Start the request.
4. It stops owning my mind.

What are you carrying right now? Start praying through it.
