Parenting is deeply important to the Lord, and it should be important to us as well. While raising children and building a lasting legacy of faith is one of life’s greatest callings, it is not always easy. Every season brings new challenges, questions, and opportunities to grow!

To help equip and encourage families, our leadership team is excited to announce the release of our new PARENTING PODCAST series!! In these episodes, several trusted leaders share biblical wisdom, practical insights, and personal experiences as they discuss a variety of parenting topics and challenges.

Whether you are raising young children, navigating the teen years, or simply seeking to strengthen your family’s spiritual foundation, we hope these conversations will be a valuable resource and encouragement to you.

This week at Life Church

-Life groups: times and days vary from group to group. Please reach out if you would like to join a life group!

-39 hours of prayer: someone will be praying from 7pm on Friday night until Sunday morning at 10am. We will kick off this 39 hours of prayer with Fire and all are welcome to join!! We will have a special speaker and time of worshipping the Lord!

Over the past couple weeks, we've had the honor of celebrating and praying for some incredible graduates at Life Church! We had graduates from Truman State University, Kirksville High School, and Life Church School. We are so thankful for each of these young men and women and the blessing they have been to our church family.

As they step into this next season of life, we are excited to see all that God has in store for them. We pray that they continue to walk in faith, pursue God’s purpose, and shine His light wherever they go. Congratulations, graduates — we love you and are cheering you on!

This past Sunday, we had the privilege of welcoming a special speaker, Jay Lotterer, from Pittsburg, KS. Jay is more than just a guest speaker—he’s a dear friend and part of our extended family, someone we’ve had the honor of building the Kingdom alongside for many years. What an incredible Easter Sunday at Life Church of Kirksville!

We began the morning with powerful testimonies from Samantha Taylor and Daryle T. Newsome that reminded us of God’s faithfulness and transforming power. We then spent time in worship, celebrating our risen Lord and Savior together.

Nate Fajkus shared a salvation message, and Roger Moore led us in a meaningful time of Communion as we remembered the sacrifice Jesus made for us.

Most exciting of all, heaven rejoiced with us as two individuals gave their lives to the Lord! What a beautiful day to gather together and worship the risen King. We are so thankful for everyone who joined us to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. He is risen indeed.
