Holding on to Hope......

That’s not weak faith.

That’s what holding on to hope often looks like.

Disappointment changes people quietly. After enough pain, you stop getting excited, stop expecting too much, stop believing things will get better.

But God sees the version of you that’s trying to stay strong while carrying sadness no one else fully notices.

He was afraid.
He was waiting.
He was surrounded by trouble.

Yet he said, "I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord..."

Not because life was easy.

Because God was still God.

If you're in a hard season, don't let what you see make you forget Who He is.

The giants in my path.....

Father, I’ll be honest: sometimes the giants in my path look far too big for me to handle. I find myself looking at my own small hands and wondering how I’ll ever stand against the shadows that loom over my peace. Lord, forgive my heart when it tries to strategize in its own strength or shrink back in fear.

Like David, I want to remember that my victory doesn’t depend on my size, but on Your sovereignty. Help me to lay down my heavy armor of control and simply trust in Your name. I am small, but You are infinite, and I rest in the truth that You are already standing in the gap for me.

For the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands. : 1 Samuel 17:47

I surrender to you Lord......

Father, I come to You with hands that are weary from holding on so tight. I have carried these worries like they were my own to solve, forgetting that I was never meant to bear the weight of the outcome. Lord, I am choosing to breathe today. I am lifting every silent petition, every anxious thought, and every "what if" up to You.

Like seeds scattered on the wind, I release them into Your hands, trusting that You know exactly where they need to land. I surrender my need to see the growth before I trust the Sower. My heart is quiet now, resting in the truth that You are already in my tomorrow, tending to the things I cannot reach. I leave them with You, Father, knowing Your timing is perfect and Your love is sure.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. : 1 Peter 5:7
