Join us tomorrow morning for the second Sunday of Easter, which we are celebrating as our first Holy Humor Sunday!

In the early Church, the Sunday after Easter was a β€œlow” Sunday, a chance to relax and make merry after the wonderful pageantry of Resurrection Sunday. It was a time to be a little less serious, tell silly jokes, sing fun songs, and keep the Easter joy going. Be prepared to be surprised and laugh!

We had a quiet, intimate Maundy Thursday service in Fellowship Hall. After sharing a simple meal, we sang, washed each others’ hands, read scripture, and prayed together as the candles went out and the light left us.
It will return. Now we wait in joyful hope for the glory of Easter Sunday.
