This month, we are reminded of Jesus’ words in John 20:21: “As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

Jesus didn’t call His church simply to gather—He sent us. We are sent to share the Gospel, serve our neighbors, meet real needs, strengthen churches, and take the hope of Jesus into communities across North Carolina and beyond.

That’s what the North Carolina Missions Offering is all about: Living Sent. When we give, pray, and serve, we join together to help take the Gospel beyond the walls of our own church and into places where God is already at work.

Thank you to everyone who is supporting the North Carolina Missions Offering this month! Your generosity helps make ministry and missions possible throughout our state.

May we never forget that every follower of Jesus is a missionary wherever God has placed us.

We have been sent. Now let’s live sent.

This Sunday we have multiple opportunities for you to connect with others at 5th Sunday Fellowship, to learn and grow in your faith through Don Sunshine’s training, and to support our youth at lunch.

Join us at:
- 9am for 5th Sunday Fellowship and Part 1 of Don Sunshine’s training
- 10am for worship and Part 2 of Don Sunshine’s training.
- 11:15am for the Baked Potato and Salad Lunch that benefits our youth going to the fall retreat.

Don Sunshine is a regular trainer for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the Light FM. We can’t wait to learn from him, to have encouraging fellowship, and to support our youth.

💗 WALK FOR LIFE — LET’S GET INVOLVED! 💗

The Pregnancy Resource Center of Cleveland County is hosting its Walk for Life on Saturday, September 12, and we’d love to see our church family get involved!

This is a wonderful opportunity to stand for life, support mothers and babies in our community, and help the Pregnancy Resource Center continue providing practical help, hope, and resources to women and families facing pregnancy decisions (and help reduce the number of abortions in NC)

🙏 You can participate by joining the Walk or by making a donation.

If you would like to get involved, please contact Eddie or Donna Hamrick for more information and to find out how you can participate or give.

Great night with a big group of senior adults at Catfish Cove in Belmont. Thankful for how they encourage one another, pray for each other, look ahead to upcoming events, and how they are giving away the 21 Days of Prayer devotional books to friends. Our senior adults are on mission!

There is something incredibly encouraging about hearing the next generation worship Jesus! 🙌

Seeing students and young people serve on our worship team is a beautiful reminder that God is already working in their lives and preparing them to lead others in following Jesus.

We are so thankful for each of them who is willing to serve, use their gifts, and help lead our church family in worship. What a joy it is to watch them grow—not only as musicians and singers, but as young people who love Jesus and desire to honor Him.

We love hearing the next generation worship! ❤️

⚽ UPWARD SOCCER SKILLS NIGHT — TONIGHT! ⚽

Our last Upward Soccer Skills Night is happening TONIGHT at 6:00 PM at Patterson Grove Baptist Church!

Whether your child has played soccer for years or has never kicked a soccer ball before—no experience is required! Come out, meet the coaches, learn more about Upward Soccer, and see what makes this league different.

Upward Soccer is more than just soccer. We believe it is important to develop the whole child. Our league is Christ-centered and includes:

⚽ Soccer fundamentals and skill development
📖 Scripture memory at every practice and game
❤️ Character formation and biblical values
✝️ Bible lessons at every practice and game

We believe Upward Soccer is the only Christ-centered soccer league in our area that intentionally combines soccer development with Scripture, character formation, and Bible teaching throughout the season.

We are so thankful for everyone who has volunteered through to serve and bless Bethware Elementary here in Kings Mountain, NC! ❤️

We are also incredibly grateful to the administration and staff at Bethware for allowing our church to come alongside them and serve our school community.

During ServeNC, our church family has been able to:

• Donate almost 100 bags of school supplies
• Complete landscaping and beautification projects
• Help repair the track by removing over 50 wheel barrels of dirt, grass, sand etc
• Prayer walk around the school
• Provide a meal for the teachers and staff
• We are preparing to begin weekly food donations for students in need
• Getting ready to begin Bible Club in September

What a privilege it is to serve our community—not simply by doing projects, but by building relationships, meeting needs, and letting people know that we care about them.

As a new school year begins, please join us in praying for the students, teachers, administrators, staff, and families of Bethware Elementary. Pray that God would give them wisdom, strength, encouragement, and a safe and successful school year.

And thank you to every volunteer who has given your time, energy, resources, and prayers to make these opportunities possible. We are grateful for each of you!
