Yesterday pastors and church planters and their families from all over Cleveland County came together to celebrate the end of another school year and to enjoy some time together.

It is powerful to see a multiethnic and multilingual group of pastors from multiple sizes of churches all represented as we serve Him here in Cleveland County, NC.

As a church, we are joined together with other churches through our cooperation and our common confession of faith as well as our mission to reach the lost. We do this locally, nationally, and internationally as partner churches in the GCCBA.

Pray for our brothers and sisters across the county and around the world. Give thanks to God for Jason, Katie, and Nicole who help us multiply our impact in Cleveland County and beyond.

What an amazing SonShine Social we had last night at Patterson Grove Baptist Church.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a special evening — our students, parents, volunteers, youth ministry staff, and all the adults who jumped in to help!

From the cookout on the grill to the endless supply of homemade desserts and that incredible homemade ROs slaw, homemade peach cobbler, and homemade cinnamon roll twists, the food was fantastic. The energy was nonstop with soccer, basketball, Gaga ball on the sports fields, fun at the Youth House, and good times all over.

We’re so grateful for our entire church family coming together to create a night full of food, fellowship, laughter, and joy. These moments are what make our discipleship ministry so meaningful!

🙌 Heartfelt thanks to the Patterson Grove Baptist Church Youth Group!

You all worked so hard at the Spaghetti Lunch last week while serving with smiles, cleaning up, and pouring your energy into making it a success. We’re so proud of you.❤️

A huge thank you also to our incredible Patterson Grove Baptist Church family for your incredible generosity. Because of your support, EVERY ONE of our youth is now fully paid for and ready to go to MFuge this June.👊🏻

What a blessing it is to be part of a church that invests so deeply in our next generation. We can’t wait to see how God moves in and through our students this summer!🙏

🇺🇸 Today on Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

Among them is Sergeant Robert Larry Dellinger of Kings Mountain, North Carolina. Born on March 12, 1946, Sgt. Dellinger served with the 101st Airborne Division, 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry, B Company. He was drafted into the Army and gave his life in service on October 27, 1968, at the age of 22—killed in action by small arms fire in Thua Thien Province, Vietnam.

His name is forever etched on Panel 40W, Line 42 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.

True freedom isn’t free. It was purchased with the blood of heroes like Sergeant Dellinger. Today we remember his courage, his service, and the profound debt we owe him and all who never made it home.
Rest in peace, Sergeant. You are not forgotten. 🙏

It’s because of men and women like Sergeant Dellinger that we as a church have the freedom to worship and witness freely in these United States and beyond.

🍓 What a wonderful day at Strawberry Hill in Chesnee, SC! 🍓

Our senior adults had a fantastic outing today, soaking up the sunshine and good company in this charming spot. We started with a delicious lunch, followed by creamy ice cream that hit the spot on a beautiful spring day. Then we wandered over to a fabulous produce stand bursting with fresh, local goodies—everyone left with smiles and bags full of treasures!

Nothing beats good food, fresh air, and even better friendships. ❤️
