Senior Adult Lunch – What a Wonderful Time! Thank you to everyone who joined us today for our Senior Adult Steak and Chicken Lunch.

It was such a joy to gather, enjoy delicious food, and fellowship together.

A huge thank you to Emily, Charles, Dianne, Ava, Henry, Shirley, Ellen, and so many more who worked tirelessly behind the scenes—purchasing, preparing, and serving the meal with such love and excellence. Your hard work made the day extra special!

We also loved the singing—thank you to everyone who participated and made it such a sweet, uplifting time of worship and joy. Moments like these remind us what a blessing it is to be part of this church family.

Don’t forget the words we looked at from Psalm 43: “Why are you depressed, O my soul? Why are you upset? WAIT FOR GOD! For I will again give thanks to my God for his saving intervention.” — Psalm 43‬:‭5‬

Tonight’s Youth Summer Bible Study is going to be 🔥!
Join us at 5:00 PM at the youth house at 301 Oak Grove Road for Session 2: Renewing Your Mind With God’s Truth. (We’re also going to go purchase gift cards to donate to the cancer center in Shelby to help patients battling cancer.)

In a world full of noise, pressure, and distractions, God calls us to something great for Him.

Romans 12:1-2 says: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Tonight we’re diving into how we let God’s Word reshape our thinking so we can stand strong and live differently. Expect solid Bible teaching, great food, and a fun activity that ties it all together.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or just need a reset — this is your night. Pull up! It’ll be lit! 💡🙌

✝️ You’re Invited to The Lord’s Supper at Patterson Grove Baptist Church ✝️ This Sunday, June 28 at 10:00 AM, we invite you to join us as we gather around the Lord’s Table to remember and proclaim the death of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We place great importance on believer’s baptism and the regular, meaningful observance of the Lord’s Supper. It is not merely a ritual, but a sacred time of remembrance, reflection, and renewed commitment. In this ordinance, we obey our Lord’s command: “For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’ For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

Come expectant. Come repentant. Come worshiping. Whether you’ve been walking with Christ for years or just recently put your faith in Jesus, all who are born again followers of Jesus are welcome at the Table and in the house of the Lord.

Great night #4 at VBS! 🙌 What an awesome evening seeing the kids diving into God’s Word, worshiping with all their hearts, and having a blast with friends! The energy was high and the smiles were everywhere last night.

Tonight is our FINAL NIGHT — don’t miss it! We start with dinner for everyone at 6:00 PM.

Parents, plan to come back by 8:00 PM (a little earlier than the previous nights) to watch the kids’ special presentation as we wrap up an incredible week together. You’re going to love seeing what they’ve learned and how God has been moving in their hearts. Bring your kids, invite a family member, and let’s finish strong celebrating Jesus!

Ps. Make sure to stop and thank one of the awesome volunteers helping teach, serve food, or cleaning up. We couldn’t do this every year without them. ❤️

Our Summer Youth Bible Study starts TODAY! 🔥

STANDING STRONG: Using God’s Word to Overcome Trials and Tribulations

Today (June 18) we kick things off with Session 1: God is With You in the Storm from 3-5 PM at the Youth House!

Future sessions will all run 5-7 PM:
• June 23 – Session 2: Renewing Your Mind with God’s Truth
• July 16 – Session 3: Faith Over Fear
• July 23 – Session 4: Persevering Through Difficult Seasons
• July 30 – Session 5: Living with Hope and Victory

Each night we’ll have solid Bible study, good food (ICE CREAM tonight), and a fun activity. Come ready to grow, connect, and stand strong in God’s Word!

You should pull up — it’s gonna be LIT! 🙌
