The book of James is a practical call to genuine Christian living. James shows us that true faith is more than something we profess—it is a living faith that shapes how we endure trials, respond to God’s Word, speak to others, pursue wisdom, show mercy, make decisions, pray, and live each day.

Throughout this series, we will see what faith in practice looks like and how genuine faith bears the biblical fruit God desires in the lives of His people.

We are excited to anounce this project, Room to Grow: Building Faith for the Next Generation.

For the past few months we have been raising $25,000 to transform our church basement into safe, welcoming, and useful classrooms for Kings Kids! our Children’s Church.

And as mentioned below, this is about much more than remodeling rooms, it is about preparing a place where children can hear the gospel, learn God’s Word, and grow as disciples of Jesus. We desire to see the next generation reached and disciples for Christ!

Already, nearly $4,000 has been raised, and new windows have been installed. We praise God, and thank everyone who has contributed in prayers, encouragement, and giving.

We are trusting God to provide the rest and look forward to seeing him do it.

As we are praying, we are also asking, will you prayerfully consider helping us through prayer, giving, volunteering, or sharing this post?

We are not simply remodeling a basement. We are making room for the next generation to grow in Christ.

Join us this Sunday as we learn our September Song of the Month “Your Word Endures” by Sovereign Grace Music!

This beautiful song reminds us that God’s Word never changes, His promises never fail, and His truth continues to save and shape His people. It is especially fitting as we begin studying the book of James and see how we are called to not merely hear the Word, but to receive it, obey it, and allow it to bear fruit in our everyday lives.

We look forward to singing these truths together throughout September and pray that you join us as we worship him this Sunday!
