Admittedly, I know very little about Dr. Josh Axe, but I know another good reason to seek counseling when I see one!

Many times, what we see on the outside (body) is greatly affected by, or even the direct result of, what we have going on on the inside (soul: mind, will, and emotions).

I have openings for those interested. Message me for more information.

Only an overwhelmingly powerful God has what it takes to see you through what seems like an overwhelmingly difficult season of life.

To deny this truth about Who He is means you are to deny the victory which only He can secure for you.

Deuteronomy 20:4, 2 Chronicles 20:15

Faith, through an abiding relationship, in Christ is the prerequisite to healing in Christ-centered counseling. No one can help you find the latter without the former.

Coping methods can be a good way of dealing with emotions for a short time, while you find the real Answer to healing.

But trying to survive on coping methods is a lot like this picture of a car issue I “resolved” a year ago.

Just in case you were wondering… the problem was, in fact, not solved.

The answer to true healing isn’t in temporary band-aids, but in taking out that which is faulty and replacing it with something that truly gets the job done.

I have openings available. Let’s discuss the road to healing in your, or someone you know’s, life.

Good stuff.

In Matthew 11:30, Jesus says, “For my yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light.”

As a carpenter, Jesus would have crafted yoke for pairs of working animals. In order to distribute the work load appropriately, each side of the yoke would need to be crafted specifically for each animal. What interesting about this is: not one yoke can make the claim “one size fits all.”

The same is true in marriage. God has designed a life specific for your marriage. He wants the two of you to distribute the work of this life appropriately between you. To that end, he crafts a “yoke” which fits each of you according to His deign. The wife cannot fit on the husband’s side and the husband cannot work from the wife’s side.

When we learn to take up the yoke which God has made for our marriages, we find that the burdens of this life become much easier to bear. Now, although all marriages share some similarities in the crafting of their yokes… there is not a “one size fits all.”

Do you need help identifying the yoke Christ has crafted for you and your spouse? That’s where Christ-centered counseling comes in. As a certified counselor, my goal is to guide your relationship toward all that the Lord has in store for you as individuals, as well as husband and wife.

If you or someone you know is in need today, give me a call at (903)720-2054.

“You are the sum of all your parts.” - Thomas Wolfe

True. Every man, woman, and child embody their own personal collection(s) of memories, experiences, positives, and negatives from their past and present. These collections affect their being as a whole (mind, soul, spirit, and body)… and thus, provide us with a pseudo-definition of who we are.

The longer we accept this definition of ourselves, the harder it becomes to meet our temperament needs in a God-honoring fashion. The answer to our problem? Redefining who we are, based on our individual, God-given designs.

God knew what He was doing when He knit you together in your mother’s womb. Getting back to His design will answer questions you didn’t know you had, heal wounds your thought were long gone, and provide a future you thought was never possible.

We begin by appoaching your collections and indentifying how they have redefined you. Then we compare our findings to how God has defined you. The space between them is how we measure your level of stress and anxiety. The greater the space, the greater your anger, depression, and hurts.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Know someone who could benefit from counseling like this?

Share my information with them so we can start the road to healing today!
