The Awakening Church, 650 Lipoa Pkwy, Kihei, HI (2026)

Our open-air 300 degree view of the mountains and ocean elevates our Sunday service unlike any other church on Maui. We are one of the great churches Maui has to offer where real people can come as they are and connect with others who love God. That is why our weekend service is not like any typical service. As long as people are coming to know Christ through the power of God’s word, we will accomplish our mission by any means necessary! So, bring your family, friends and whole family to The Awakening Church!

As we learn more about Jesus and see the interactions He had with people during his earthly ministry, we are often confronted with how his responses don’t line up with societal expectations. Through these encounters, we gain insight into the character of Jesus and how it transcends our understanding. Together, we’ll explore these interactions and see the profound impact they have on our perceptions of who Jesus truly is.

You do not have to be perfect to walk in faith. You just have to admit when you need help and work on limiting your hypocrisy every day.

You might be drifting spiritually without even noticing the slide. Take this moment as your gentle wake-up call to snap out of the haze and refocus your heart.

You do not have to carry your past mistakes or feel stuck without hope anymore. Jesus stepped into your story to bring forgiveness, true purpose, and a lasting joy that changes everything.

Your past mistakes do not get to write the rest of your story. Whatever you went through, that moment is not your final verdict or your identity.
