Everyone belongs in Sunday School and Bible study—kids grow, parents lead their families in faith, and the church thrives. We want to invite you to join us as we kickoff Sunday School with a picnic.

It is with great sadness for those of us on this side of heaven that we have to announce that our brother in Christ, Robert John Albertsen, was taken to be with Jesus on Wednesday, July 8th, and now waits the resurrection of all flesh.
We grieve the loss of our brother, but we do "not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep" (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).
Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die" (John 11:25-26).
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17th, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A memorial service will be held following visitation at 11:00 a.m. officiated by the Rev. Josiah Schultz. Following the service, the committal will be held at the Keystone Cemetery with a luncheon to be held in the church fellowship hall following the committal.

We give thanks to God for the generosity shown by the Keystone Savings Bank! This money will go towards continuing our mission of sharing Christ's love with the community. To God be the glory!

Being part & giving back to our communities is at the heart of everything we do.

Our May Denim for $$ funds were donated to Swaddling Clothes in Keystone, Iowa. They collect donations and supplies associated with pregnancy & motherhood to host a "shopping day" where anyone can take what they need. Thank you, Tyler and Michelle, for presenting these funds on behalf of the bank!

Reminder: Pastor Schultz begins serving the vacancy at First Lutheran this Sunday, so Adult Bible Class will move to 8:00–8:45 a.m.

🌴VBS Day 5- God Finds Me, No Matter My Sin.🌴

We had a great last day of VBS! We walked to the Care Center to sing to the residents and pass out crafts to remind them of God's love! We ended the morning with water games.

During this week we raised offerings for Belize Mission Updates with the Groths as Pastor Jason Groth and his family continue to share the Gospel in Belize. As a prize for exceeding our offering goal, all of the kids got to throw a water balloon at Pastor Schultz(see the video in the comments)! The kids raised $537.22! We pray that this money will help as the Groths share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To God be the glory!
