People have questions about ghosts and the Bible actually addresses them directly. Our latest blog article walks through what Scripture teaches about spirits, hauntings, and the very real danger of occult practices like Ouija boards, sรฉances, and psychics. If you've ever wondered what's really behind a "ghost," this one is worth reading.

Today we reflected on the wonderful truth found in Hebrews 2:10โ€“18: God's purpose in Christ is to bring many sons to glory.

Jesus did not come merely to teach us a better way of living. He came to accomplish our salvation. By taking on flesh and blood, suffering in our place, and conquering death through His resurrection, He made it possible for sinners to be forgiven, adopted into God's family, and reconciled to God.

What a remarkable expression of God's love that the eternal Son would willingly enter our world and share in our humanity. He knows our weaknesses. He understands our struggles. He faced temptation and suffering, yet remained without sin.

Hebrews reminds us that Christ came to destroy the power of death and deliver those who were held in bo***ge by its fear. Through His finished work, believers have a living hope that extends beyond this life and into eternity.

As you reflect on today's message, rejoice in the Savior who paid the debt for sin and opened the way for many sons and daughters to share in His glory. Let your faith rest not in your own strength, but in the One who suffered for you, intercedes for you, and faithfully brings His people home.

May we walk this week with gratitude for His sacrifice, confidence in His promises, and hope in the glory that is yet to come.

This Sunday we will continue our study through the book of Hebrews with a message titled โ€œSons to Gloryโ€ from Hebrews 2:10โ€“18.

In this passage, we see the heart of God's redemptive plan. Jesus Christ, the Captain of our salvation, willingly took on flesh and blood, suffered in our place, and conquered death so that He might bring many sons to glory.

The Son of God did not remain distant from our struggles. He entered our humanity, endured suffering, and became our merciful and faithful High Priest. Because He suffered and was tempted, yet without sin, He is able to help those who are tempted and draw near to Him in faith.

As we gather for worship, we will be reminded of the great love of Christ who paid a debt He did not owe so that sinners could receive forgiveness, adoption, and eternal life. Through His sacrifice, we are invited into God's family and given the hope of sharing in His glory.

Join us as we worship together, sing praises to our faithful Savior, and hear from God's Word. We would love to welcome you.

As believers, we still experience the weaknesses and struggles of this fallen world. Yet this verse reminds us that our story does not end with what is earthly and temporary. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we have the sure hope of being made like Him.

Every day, God is at work shaping us into the likeness of His Son. Though the process of sanctification is often gradual, His purpose is certain. One day, we will see Christ face to face and fully bear the image of the heavenly Man.

Until that day, let us live with hope, pursue holiness, and fix our eyes on the Savior who has secured our future by His death and resurrection.

May this truth encourage your heart today: what God has begun in Christ, He will faithfully bring to completion.

Today we were reminded of the importance of giving earnest heed to the truth God has revealed in His Son.

Hebrews 2:1 warns, โ€œTherefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.โ€ Spiritual drifting rarely happens all at once. It often begins when we become inattentive to God's Word, neglect the greatness of our salvation, or allow other voices to crowd out the voice of Christ.

The message of Hebrews points us again to Jesusโ€”the One who humbled Himself, suffered death for everyone, and is now crowned with glory and honor. The salvation He purchased through His sacrifice is too precious to ignore and too glorious to treat lightly.

Christ willingly gave Himself for our redemption; the cross stands as a testimony to both the seriousness of sin and the greatness of God's love.

As you begin a new week, take time to consider where your attention is fixed. Are you drawing near to Christ through His Word, trusting His promises, and walking in faithful obedience?

May we give earnest heed to what God has spoken, keeping our eyes on Jesus and rejoicing in the salvation He has provided.

Tomorrow we gather to worship our Lord and Savior and continue our study through the book of Hebrews with a message titled โ€œGive Earnest Heedโ€ from Hebrews 2:1โ€“9.

The writer of Hebrews warns believers to pay careful attention to the truth they have received so that they do not drift away. In a world filled with distractions, competing voices, and spiritual dangers, God's Word calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus Christโ€”the One who was made a little lower than the angels for a time so that He might suffer death on our behalf and bring many sons and daughters to glory.

As we worship together, observe the Lordโ€™s Supper, and reflect on the greatness of Christ, we will be reminded that the gospel is not a message to be taken lightly. The salvation secured through Jesus deserves our earnest attention, wholehearted faith, and daily obedience.

Join us as we gather in worship, sing praises to our King, and hear from God's Word. We would love to welcome you.

Trials have a way of revealing where our strength truly comes from. Left to ourselves, we quickly grow weary. But God does not call His people to endure in their own power.

The Lord strengthens His children with His own mighty power, enabling us to remain steadfast when difficulties arise. Through every challenge, He supplies the grace we need to persevere with patience, confidence, and hope.

If you are facing a burden this week, take comfort in knowing that God has not left you to carry it alone. His strength is sufficient, His promises are sure, and His grace will sustain you.

May we rest in His power and faithfully trust Him day by day.

Today we were reminded of the glorious truth that Jesus is not merely a great teacher, prophet, or example. He is God the Sonโ€”the eternal Creator, the promised Messiah, and the only Savior of sinners.

The book of Hebrews declares that Jesus is greater than angels, greater than prophets, and greater than every earthly honor. He alone has the authority of God because He is one with the Father and was present in the creation of all things.

At Calvary, Jesus prayed, โ€œFather, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.โ€ What amazing mercy! Even those who rejected Him were offered forgiveness through His finished work on the cross.

Through His death and resurrection, He has opened the way for sinners to be forgiven, adopted into God's family, and reconciled to the Father.

As you reflect on today's message, consider again the invitation of Christ. He is not accidentally calling people to Himself. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Wisdom responds with a simple and trusting answer:

โ€œYes, Lord.โ€

May we walk this week in gratitude for His forgiveness, confidence in His authority, and joy in belonging to Him.

Tomorrow we will gather to worship and continue our study of who Jesus truly is in a message titled โ€œGod the Son.โ€

As we read Matthew 5:3โ€“12 and worship together through songs that exalt our Savior, we will be reminded that Jesus is far more than a prophet, teacher, or angelic messenger. Hebrews declares Him to be the eternal Son of Godโ€”the One through whom all things were made and the One who alone is able to redeem sinners.

From the cross, Jesus prayed, โ€œFather, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.โ€ His mercy was extended even to those who rejected Him, and that same invitation of forgiveness remains today. The Lamb of God has completed the work of redemption. The sacrifice has been made. The debt has been paid.

Jesus said, โ€œI am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.โ€ (John 14:6)

Whether you have followed Christ for many years or are still considering His claims, we invite you to come and hear what God's Word teaches about the Son who created, redeemed, and still calls people to Himself.

Join us as we gather in worship. We would love to welcome you.

In a world that constantly encourages self-sufficiency, Scripture reminds us that every good thing we have is found in the Lord alone. Our strength, hope, joy, and purpose do not originate within us โ€” they are gifts of His grace.

Midweek is a good opportunity to examine our hearts and remember where our confidence truly rests. Christ is not simply an addition to our lives; He is our greatest treasure and our deepest need.

May we walk humbly before Him this week with thankful hearts, trusting fully in His goodness and faithfulness.
