Trials have a way of revealing where our strength truly comes from. Left to ourselves, we quickly grow weary. But God does not call His people to endure in their own power.

The Lord strengthens His children with His own mighty power, enabling us to remain steadfast when difficulties arise. Through every challenge, He supplies the grace we need to persevere with patience, confidence, and hope.

If you are facing a burden this week, take comfort in knowing that God has not left you to carry it alone. His strength is sufficient, His promises are sure, and His grace will sustain you.

May we rest in His power and faithfully trust Him day by day.

Today we were reminded of the glorious truth that Jesus is not merely a great teacher, prophet, or example. He is God the Sonโ€”the eternal Creator, the promised Messiah, and the only Savior of sinners.

The book of Hebrews declares that Jesus is greater than angels, greater than prophets, and greater than every earthly honor. He alone has the authority of God because He is one with the Father and was present in the creation of all things.

At Calvary, Jesus prayed, โ€œFather, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.โ€ What amazing mercy! Even those who rejected Him were offered forgiveness through His finished work on the cross.

Through His death and resurrection, He has opened the way for sinners to be forgiven, adopted into God's family, and reconciled to the Father.

As you reflect on today's message, consider again the invitation of Christ. He is not accidentally calling people to Himself. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Wisdom responds with a simple and trusting answer:

โ€œYes, Lord.โ€

May we walk this week in gratitude for His forgiveness, confidence in His authority, and joy in belonging to Him.

Tomorrow we will gather to worship and continue our study of who Jesus truly is in a message titled โ€œGod the Son.โ€

As we read Matthew 5:3โ€“12 and worship together through songs that exalt our Savior, we will be reminded that Jesus is far more than a prophet, teacher, or angelic messenger. Hebrews declares Him to be the eternal Son of Godโ€”the One through whom all things were made and the One who alone is able to redeem sinners.

From the cross, Jesus prayed, โ€œFather, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.โ€ His mercy was extended even to those who rejected Him, and that same invitation of forgiveness remains today. The Lamb of God has completed the work of redemption. The sacrifice has been made. The debt has been paid.

Jesus said, โ€œI am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.โ€ (John 14:6)

Whether you have followed Christ for many years or are still considering His claims, we invite you to come and hear what God's Word teaches about the Son who created, redeemed, and still calls people to Himself.

Join us as we gather in worship. We would love to welcome you.

In a world that constantly encourages self-sufficiency, Scripture reminds us that every good thing we have is found in the Lord alone. Our strength, hope, joy, and purpose do not originate within us โ€” they are gifts of His grace.

Midweek is a good opportunity to examine our hearts and remember where our confidence truly rests. Christ is not simply an addition to our lives; He is our greatest treasure and our deepest need.

May we walk humbly before Him this week with thankful hearts, trusting fully in His goodness and faithfulness.

Today we reflected on the ministry of the Holy Spirit through Acts 2 and the Day of Pentecost.

What began as a feast celebrating Godโ€™s provision became the moment God poured out His Spirit and gathered the first fruits of His redeemed people through Jesus Christ. The same God who provided manna in the wilderness and harvest in the fields now gives new life through His Son.

At Pentecost, people from many nations heard โ€œthe wonderful works of Godโ€ in their own language. The Lord desired that they would truly hear, believe, and receive the message of salvation through Christ. About three thousand souls gladly received the Word and publicly declared their faith through baptism.

The Holy Spirit still works today to draw hearts to Christ, to give understanding of the Scriptures, and to produce spiritual fruit in the lives of believers. Because of His work, we no longer reject the truth of Godโ€™s Word, but rejoice to say, โ€œI believe according to the Scriptures.โ€

May we continue this week proclaiming Jesus Christ and walking faithfully in the new life He has given.

Tomorrow at Calvary Baptist Church, we will gather to worship and study Godโ€™s Word together as Pastor KD Foster brings the message, โ€œMinistry of the Holy Spiritโ€ from Acts 2:1โ€“13.

On the Day of Pentecost, the Lord fulfilled His promise and poured out the Holy Spirit upon His people. Through this passage, we are reminded of Godโ€™s power, His presence, and His work in drawing people to hear โ€œthe wonderful works of Godโ€ (Acts 2:11).

Join us as we worship together and consider the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer.

We would love to welcome you.

There are seasons in life when weariness sets in, when faithful service feels unnoticed and the weight of the work grows heavy. It is in those very moments that God's Word speaks directly to our hearts.

"Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

Whatever the Lord has called you to, serving your family, your church, your community, do not grow weary. Do not be moved. Your faithfulness is seen by God, and He is never indebted to anyone. Every act of service rendered in His name carries eternal weight and eternal reward.

Be encouraged today. Your labor is not in vain.

Today we were reminded from John 5:36โ€“39 that the Word of God is our guide because it points us to Jesus Christ.

The Scriptures are not merely words on a page to be studied intellectually โ€” they testify of the Savior. Godโ€™s Word reveals His truth, directs our steps, and continually leads us to Christ, who alone gives life.

May we be a people who not only search the Scriptures, but who gladly receive the One to whom the Scriptures point.

โ€œSanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.โ€ โ€” John 17:17 (NKJV)

Tomorrow morning, we will gather to worship the Lord as we look together at John 5:36โ€“39 and consider the truth that Godโ€™s Word is our guide.

In these verses, Jesus speaks of the witness that testifies of Him โ€” the works the Father gave Him to accomplish and the Scriptures that point directly to Christ. Though many searched the Scriptures, they missed the One to whom the Scriptures were leading.

As we open Godโ€™s Word together, we will be reminded that the Bible is not merely information to study, but Godโ€™s revelation that leads us to Christ, anchors us in truth, and guides us in faithful living.

We would love to welcome you as we worship together this Lordโ€™s Day.
