Are you ready to take on an exciting ministry leadership position? The Camp Chrysalis Program Director will be a leader that builds on a legacy of excellence in faith-based summer camp and retreat programming at Lutheran Camp Chrysalis in the Texas Hill Country.

Camp Chrysalis is a 99-acre camp with a beautiful bluff overlooking Turtle Creek operated by Cross Trails Ministry. We are seeking a candidate who is ready to take primary responsibility for multi-age summer camp and non-summer retreat programs while working on a dedicated program team to create curriculum and activity options for all Cross Trails programs. This person should be excited about working with summer staff and building relationships with people of all ages through summer camp and retreats.

Candidates must have strong leadership skills, the ability to work on a team, show creative initiative and provide exemplary Christian hospitality to all. This is a year-round professional position starting fall 2026.

Jack Noblett has served Cross Trails Ministry since December 2021 as the Camp Chrysalis Program Director. He has faithfully shared his creativity, passion for summer camp and sense of fun to many retreat guests and summer campers over the years. Jack has positively impacted the lives of many retreat guests, campers and summer staff. This fall, Jack will be departing his position with Cross Trails Ministry. We give God thanks and praise for Jack's leadership and his service to the mission of Cross Trails Ministry!

Some of our summer campers went back to school this week and others will start next week. Please join us in wishing our campers and summer staff a safe school year full of fun, laughter, and lots of learning!

Almighty God, we thank you for the gift of learning and pray your blessing over students, educators, and leaders as a new school year begins. Grant safety, health, wisdom, and joy in every classroom and home. May this year be filled with growth, purpose, and a deep awareness of your presence. Amen.

Digging Deeper Together

A HUGE thank you to our incredible summer staff! You poured your time, energy, hearts, and faith into every camper and every moment this summer. As we’ve spent the summer digging deeper into the Lord’s Prayer, you helped our campers dig deeper into their faith, too.

Thank you for serving, leading, laughing, teaching, and loving so well. We are so grateful for each of you and the ways God worked through you this summer!
