On Thurs June 11, 3pm the U.S. bishops will consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in conjunction with the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Pray this prayer at 3pm tomorrow: O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, from your pierced side, you have poured out the wellspring of life. May our hearts be united to yours. We make reparation for the offenses against you and against human dignity. We ask you to bless the United States of America. Amen

Due to an overwhelming response, we have opened 5 more spots for Vacation Bible School (VBS)!!
Registration closes this Sunday night, May 31st.

The program is open to children in grades 4K through 5th grade. The cost is $40 per child, which includes a t-shirt, all activities, and food. Our sessions feature outdoor games, music and dance, creative DIY snacks, faith-based crafts, and scripture studies.

VBS will be held at St. Therese from Monday, June 22, to Friday, June 26, between 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM.

The Ladies Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is currently preparing for the 77th Annual Mt. Carmel Festival. In anticipation of the event, they are hard at work producing approximately 225–250 gallons of our traditional homemade sauce.

For the seventh consecutive year, our program will feature the Sophia Institute's Spirit of Truth curriculum. This program provides a comprehensive education in Catholic prayers and traditions, fosters a sense of community, and offers an engaging learning experience for our students.

Classes are available for students in Preschool through 12th Grade. Please note that registration is required for those preparing for sacraments, including First Communion, Reconciliation, and Confirmation.

Fr. Campbell will be teaching a four-part course on St. Louis de Montfort’s classic work, True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The course will held on four consecutive Tuesday evenings—May 26, June 2, June 9, and June 16—from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at St. Therese Church (2020 91st St., Kenosha).

This course is intended to help participants understand the Church’s tradition regarding authentic devotion to Mary and why it is necessary for followers of Jesus Christ. All are invited to attend.
