Labor Day Reflection: As we celebrate Labor Day, let us take a moment to recognize the dignity of every worker and the many ways their efforts help families, communities, and our church flourish. May we always value the work of every person, seek justice for all laborers, and give thanks for the opportunity to serve God through our daily work.

Labor Day Blessing: Dear God, We thank You for this Labor Day. Bless the men and women who serve in our workforce, and grant them strength and protection in their work. Bless, too, those who courageously seek to build fairer and more just working environments for all our brothers and sisters. Bless all of us as we gather to rest and recreate during this holiday weekend. Amen.

Parish Office is closed on 9/7. Join us for 8:00 a.m. Daily Mass.

Chances are, if you’re human, you have had conflict with another person.

God calls us to love our neighbors, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ. But what should we do when someone sins against us or conflict arises? In this week’s Gospel, Jesus gives us a patient framework for addressing offenses within the Church—beginning with a private conversation and seeking, whenever possible, to restore the relationship.

Disputes will arise, but how we address them matters. May we ask the Holy Spirit to guide us in seeing others with dignity and respect, speaking the truth in love and seeking reconciliation.
