As of today there will be a new code to access the south doors by the fellowship hall. The old code will no longer work. If you need the code for some reason, please contact me at the office and I will get it to you. If you have a group that meets at the church, you should have your own code. Please do not share the door code with others.

Just a reminder of a few volunteers we are looking for:
1) A Team Tannenbaum "Cookie Boss" to oversee the sign-up, drop-off, and plating of the cookies. Drop-off is December 4th.
2) Drivers to take meals from the Shalom Center to Christ the King Church on our Soup Kitchen days. Pick up the meals around 3:30pm and drive them to the church near the downtown library and then you are done. We have at least one volunteer, but more are better.
3) Sunday school teachers. We are putting together the schedule and could use a few more children's Sunday school teachers.
If you can help with any of these, let us know!

We are looking for a volunteer to help with one particular part of our monthly soup kitchen dates. The Shalom Center has asked if we can get someone to drive bagged meals from the Shalom Center facility on 39th Avenue to Christ the King Church near Library Park by 4:00pm. Rather than take away one of our soup kitchen volunteers, we are hoping other people might step up. Please let me know if you can go on a rotation for this need. Thanks!

Linda is willing to do your Shalom Center shopping for you. She just returned from a shopping trip someone gave her money for with lots of items for the food pantry. Thanks, Linda! If you do your own shopping, why not bring it Sunday and add it to the monthly collection. Thank you for thinking of the hungry in our community!

I know when it is 80 degrees out it is hard to think about Christmas time and Team Tannenbaum, but time marches on and it will be here before you know it. We want to be ready. Jim and Kortnie are busy getting dates together for inventory, delivery, and takedown. What we really need now, however, is a volunteer to organize the cookie delivery. This person is the contact for anyone making cookies and will organize the drop-off times and arrange the right number of cookie platters for the various locations. If you are looking for a way to help TT but cannot do the inventory dates or deliveries, this might be a great opportunity to serve. You certainly should not do it all yourself, so we can help find other volunteers to assist with making up the plates of cookies. We just need an organizer. Contact the church or Pastor Lance if you think that is something you can do.
