So thankful for our training last Sunday with Mr. Mark Jones from Mr. Mark’s Classroom! We loved having him pour into our Kids Ministry leaders and share his experience and wisdom with us.

A big thank you to all of our leaders who took the time to join us. I’m so grateful for your willingness to learn, grow, and keep investing in the kids we serve. Your time and commitment matter!

We’re building more than great classrooms—we’re helping kids build a Life Built on Truth. What a gift it is to have leaders who care so deeply about the kids God has entrusted to us.

So thankful for this team and the way you continue to serve our kids! ❤️

🏃‍♀️ MidWeek Kids is back! 🏃‍♂️

We’re kicking off a brand-new year of MidWeek Kids on Wednesday, August 12 from 6:30–7:30 PM!

This year, we’re learning what it means to follow Jesus and let Him set the pace for our lives. Through Bible lessons, games, Scripture memory, hands-on activities, and small groups, kids from preschool through 5th grade will have fun while growing in God’s Word and learning what it looks like to follow Jesus every day.

Whether your family has been part of MidWeek Kids for years or you’ve never joined us before, we’d love to have you!

🎉 **Promotion Sunday is THIS Sunday!** 🎉

This Sunday, **August 2**, is Promotion Sunday, and we can't wait to welcome kids into their new classes for a brand-new ministry year!

📸 Be sure to look for our **photo opportunities** and capture this exciting milestone as your child moves up to the next class.

**Sunday Morning Schedule:**
👶 **Babies–Kindergarten:** Life Groups at **9:30 & 11:00 AM**
📚 **1st–5th Grade:** Life Groups at **9:30 AM** and **Kids Worship at 11:00 AM**

As we welcome new children into each class, we're also praying for a few more adults to step into this important ministry. We wrapped up an incredible week at Kennesaw First Kids VBS today!

📖 Bible Account: Peter Preached About Jesus — Acts 2
💡 Spotlight Question: Why do I need to respond to Jesus?
✨ Spotlight Answer: Jesus is the only way to receive God's forgiveness. Jesus is God’s plan for forgiveness.
🧠 Theme Verse: John 8:12

All week kids learned who Jesus is — and today they heard how to respond by trusting Him.

Family Challenge:
Ask your child what it means to follow Jesus personally and continue that conversation at home.

VBS may be ending, but discipleship continues. Come worship with us Sunday mornings at Kennesaw First as we keep helping kids follow Jesus! VBS attendees are invited to sing at 11:00 AM service THIS Sunday!

Today was a meaningful day as kids heard the most important truth in history.

📖 Bible Account: Jesus’ Death and Resurrection — Mark 14:43–16:7
💡 Spotlight Question: Was Jesus just someone who lived a long time ago?
✨ Spotlight Answer: Jesus lived, died, and rose to life again to be our Savior, now and forever. Jesus is the proven Son of God.
🧠 Theme Verse: John 8:12

Through His death and resurrection, Jesus proved exactly who He is — our Savior and King.

Family Challenge:
Ask your child why the resurrection gives us hope.

🙏 Continue supporting our mission project as we share the gospel beyond our walls. Tomorrow is the last day to bring in donations for Families4Families.

Wednesday at Illumination Station = BIG energy and BIG truth!

📖 Bible Account: Jesus Performed Miracles — Matthew 15:29–39
💡 Spotlight Question: Was Jesus just a teacher?
✨ Spotlight Answer: Everything Jesus said and did showed that He is the Powerful Son of God.
🧠 Theme Verse: John 8:12

Kids saw that Jesus cares about people completely and has power over every need.

Family Challenge:
Pray together tonight and trust Jesus with something your family needs.

💛 Mission Project giving continues — our kids are learning they can impact the world for Christ right now!

We hope to see your family Sunday morning at Kennesaw First! Kiddos will sing some songs from VBS during the 11:00 AM service!

Day 2 was packed with joy, worship, and deep conversations about Jesus!

📖 Bible Account: Jesus’ Baptism — Matthew 3:13–17; Mark 1:1–11; John 1:29–34
💡 Spotlight Question: Was Jesus just an ordinary man?
✨ Spotlight Answer: Jesus is the PERFECT Son of God who came to be the Savior of the world.
🧠 Theme Verse: John 8:12

Kids discovered that Jesus lived the perfect life we could never live — and that’s why He alone can rescue us from sin.

Family Challenge:
Talk tonight about why Jesus had to be perfect for us.

🌎 Keep bringing offerings for our mission project this week!

Day 1 at Kennesaw First Kids VBS is in the books — and WOW did the building come alive today!

Today we discovered Jesus Is God’s Promised Son.

📖 Bible Account: Jesus Asked Who People Thought He Was — Matthew 16:13–20
💡 Spotlight Question: Who is Jesus?
✨ Answer: Jesus is the Messiah, the promised Son of God.
🧠 Spotlight Verse: John 8:12 — “Jesus spoke to them again: ‘I am the light of the world…’”

Kids sang loudly, opened God’s Word, asked big questions, and began learning that Jesus isn’t just a good teacher — He is the Savior God promised from the very beginning.

Family Challenge:
Ask your child tonight: Who did Peter say Jesus is? Let them teach YOU what they learned.

And families — don’t let VBS be the end of the conversation. Come worship with us Sunday morning and keep growing together!
